  1. Sounds good! So I understand correctly: I have tested by creating a new PQ on an existing route and get exactly the same result as before, caches about half the configured distance is included, not more. But! Do I have to create also a new route, not only a new PQ, to get benefit from the "fine tuning"? I actually can live with the "flaw", now when I know what is happening and how to get round it.
  2. Caches along a route I have done some digging in this now. First, what @Pe_Bo writes above seems to apply. If I turn to page 2 and then turn to page 1, the list corresponds exactly to the contents of the PQ file. I have a PQ configured to include caches 1.100 meters from the route and made some estimations (ruler on the PC screen). * The preview map, seems to be more or less correct when measuring from the purple route line. Caches 1.100 meter from the line are included. * The PQ file (and preview list), seems to include caches about half the configured distance from the route, in my case, caches 600 meters from the route are included, while caches 700 meters from the route are not. I hope these findings can be of any help. To me, this is a way to get forward in the meantime, while corrections are made.
  3. How critical is the difference between the PQ file and the preview on the map deemed? Is there a rough ETA? To me, warranty period ending without having the found problems fixed feels strange. After all, we are paying for these functions in te premium subscription, can we expect some compensation for these problems? Was my input above to any value?
  4. Sorry to rain on the parade, but there is still misalign between the PQ and what you see in the preview map. Caches are both present on the map and missing in the PQ and the other way around. Guid for PQ: ?guid=00fce57e-71e0-4cf0-b3d9-828485e24aba Edit: The preview list is showing a third result unfortunately. Edit (again): It looks like the caches missing in the PQ are the ones farthest away from the road, making me think that the distance valiable is different between the cases. I have choosed to have 1 km as distance, but it looks like caches beyond approx. 400 meters are missing. In the case where caches are missing on the map, but are present in the PQ, they (2) are just before the beginning of the route. Might be someting similar there with distance variables,
  5. I can confirm User route to work as expected, but I guess that is no surprise. :-) Thanks for the effort!
  6. Hi Bl4ckH4wkGER ! Is it aything I can do to participate in the investigations around "Caches along a route"? I have a couple of PQs using that function. Among them a PQ normally giving 90-something caches, but now 41. Ampng the 41 is at least one cache that is far away from the 1 km setting.
  7. After the night (CET), I get http 500 och almost all of my PQs if I press "Preview Pocket Query". Map view seems to be ok. The PQs that don't work has one of the following settings that differ from the one that works: Caches along a route Placed during a span of dates. All ofther setting are "default" PQ files seems all to be ok (still missing 50% in caches along a route) Hope this helps!
  8. Included my earlier post about issues I discovered. I know there is always bugs, always! There is no software anywhere that is bug free, you are completely correct. What sets my "tone", is that there were no obvious warning about the "upgrade" and some of the issues (like loosing 50% of the content of the PQ) would have been found after 5 minutes of testing in my view. I spent MANY hours trying to sort out what has happened. Apologies if someone got hurt! Can you please inform us about the new functions in the release you are mentioning? (If I understood correct) And again, what is the ETA please? (if there is one) Only 10 bugs is very impressive!! Regards.
  9. Great! What is the ETA for those fixes? Also, it would be nice to hear the explanation of why a new version is set into production without prior testing in a QA environment?
  10. I am experiencing the same issue. - Preview - map seems to be complete and ok. - Preview - list is lacking more than 50% och the caches and also contain some stray caches that is outside the distance filter, i e 1 kilometer from the route. This is also what is delivered in the PQ file
  11. Thanks for the reply regarding the icons, of course they popped up at a more detailed zoom level, also together with all other stuff that is POIs of course. But that is another story, to ask Garmin for tools to shut some off. Another question: My spoiler images are turning up, nice and in good manner as thumbnails at the "Run" screen. BUT, the name of the image is blank, is just say: "Image: " It would sometimes be of value to read the name as is mights say "this is a nice view, not a spoiler" making it to be captured in the SpoilerSync filter. I guess the field is meant to hold the image file name? Peter
  12. First, I would like to stand in the line of thank you for a great macro! I have a Nuvi 205 and think I have got everything to work as expected and just have a question: When i just klick to see the map, it doesn't show any caches at all and if I select one cache and then the map, than that particular cache is shown on the map, no other. Is this "works as designed" or am I doing something unusual? Peter
  13. :-) I believe that the coordinates entered is my home already, you can test and see if you come up with same result as myself? I have double/triple/whatever checked, I still think I have done something wrong, but cannot find what. When I do a search using the coordinates for the GC15QG4 cache (see above), it looks like I'm eding up in the middle of the Atlantic and the nearest cache is 226km away and have coordinates: N 57° 48.673 W 008° 33.914 It doesn't make sense.... Peter After re-entering my home coordinates for the 10th time or something, it now works!!! But it took a while (about 10 minutes...) of waiting before it showed correct values. Obviously this was created by lack of patience? At one instance, I entered West instead of East, maybe that sticked. Never mind, it now works and I will not touch it again. :-) Peter

  15. When I enter my Home Coordinates (Under "My Account", Update Home Coordinates) and then look at a cache that is really near my home, the information says "E 1430.1km from your home coordinates". As a test, I entered the coordinates for that particular cache as home position and looked - same result! The similar applies for all caches i've looked at in my area. The cache I used for the test above is GC15QG4, coordinates N58 16.669' E012 18.395' Coordinates are entered as "Degrees and minutes" The location is Trollhattan, Sweden. If I do searches and use home or nearby coordinates, I get similar strange behaviour. Am I doing something wrong or what is happening? Regards, Peter
