I travel to Lake Mojave quite frequently, and on my last visit I decided to ask a NPS Ranger about geocahing in/around Lake Mead National Recreation Area. According to him, since it is a Recreation Area and not a National Park or National Preserve, that geocaching is allowed. HMMM Go figure. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this and start having some fun in these areas!
