  1. I have seen some reference to overseas shipping and the cost for this shipping. Please sign us up for those missions, my kids love the interaction with fellow travelers from other countries, when they discover a coin from another country it seems to be twice the fun for them. We find the release location online, follow the coins progress through the Geocaching maps, etc..... They are looking at releasing some Geocoins to Stargates just to hit exotic locations... We just gave three racers to a friend from Germany to release there. I am Heading to South Africa later this year taking three more for release.... SO SIGN US UP FOR THE DISTANT MISSIONS.......

  3. Hello All, As I had read multiple topics, and read thread after thread I was getting no answers, I decided to directly contact Groundspeak. I received an e-mail from them earlier today asking if the problem has been resolved... I have checked and all my coins that were not tracking and both the mileage and maps are current. Thank you Groundspeak Team.
  4. Mine are not they are still floating from Cache to Cache. Also I noticed my personal Geo-Coin just started not tracking milage either....... It has all original mileage jsut not any new miles. Is the coin back where it started? At your location?
  5. The thread: website forum thread here: Trackable mileage missing I visited shows the same issues..... Looks to be locally centered around the 25th date, same as the one I am missing......MMMMMM Also mentioned there was the fact that no map was shown, here I concour as well....
  6. Hello All, Same issue on a new Geocac coin.... LOGS, PICS, EDIT, RECALC, but alas no milage....... I will try the website: website forum thread here: Trackable mileage missing To see if I can get its mileage tracking... I just had this coin to Vegas then back home.....BUMMER
  7. Are there any of these coins still available? Like to get three, if so I will send payment ASAP. Thanks
  8. Looking forward to buying many coins for the family
  9. I agree Great Coin, When will these be available for SALE. Want to get all of us one.
  10. Hello All, I am in need of a 6-Shooter Caching in the OL WEST Geocoin, preferably in silver. Currently I have a Black Nickel, and Gold, need the Silver to complete the set. As soon as we get a third these will be out racing each other... Thank you in advance.
  11. Hello GEO*Trailblazer 1, Just hought I would drop you a note and let you know that my GEOCAC Coins arrived today. This is such a great coin I may not release it to my fellow travelers. Will have to think about it for a bit. Great Coin, Great Idea. Thanks for the hard work, I can not wait to vist the BM's.... P.S. Any of theose coins left?
  12. This is what we have learned about other Cachers, great people THANKS FOR THE OFFER. Since my Daughter is performing at Disney we are staying on property, we will be heading to town possibly an evening or so but mostly on property.
  13. HELLO ALL, We are heading to Disney in Florida, end of the week my Daughter is performing there and will be tied up most of the time with rehersals, photo shoots, etc..... My Son and I are well BORED during that time and since he can't Golf we need a few other things to do as well as ride a ride or two. Can anyone help with some cache listings within Disney? Do these exist? Thank you in advance
  14. Hello we are getting ready to set our first few caches out for finds. Question is on the FTF Coins....... Should these be left as unregistered and for the FTF cacher to register? Or should we register these and watch them travel? Any other suggestions for inclusions?
  15. Hello All, Currently we are new to caching and are enjoying it very much. We have found regular, and micro's never a Nano but enjoyed them all so far, one Micro was a puzzle and has been one of my Daughters favorites so far. My kids are about the search, and the view so we like all so far, but we have eliminated any micros that are in shopping malls as how many under the lanp post covers can you find.... As for following the rules my first submittal was rejected so the rules are being used. But why I started to read the topic was to get some help on our first two caches: 1. Both are regular. 2. One is a .50 calier, the second is a .30 caliber. 3. One is near a historical site, the other in the woods, down a canyon, across a creek, etc.... 4. We have stuffed these full of kiddy swag, for the ankle biters. 5. We are also adding a few TB's, and Geocoins we have found. 6. We have also got some FTF coins for the cache's. 7. Both have been submitted and approved Question is on the FTF Coins....... Should these be left as unregistered and fot the FTF cacher to register? Or should we register these and watch them travel? As for trash our second is a site that has not been accessed much and has had people dump trash over the years, we have cleaned area as much as possible to beautify --- CITO ---, well it is looking great now, we have included trash bags for anyone who finds something and wants to help. P.S. The kids have had as much fun scouting locations for new caches as finding new ones.... P.S.S. Our third will be in a heavy Muggle area but a regular to small, we have identified this weekend.
  16. Hey again Space Weasel - You may want to keep a tight grip on that Wife as she sounds like a keeper... Buy both cooool, however watch her at the HD store or around the Vettes..... Well reading all of this I am further lost as to which unit to buy the 60Csx, the Rhino 530HCx, or the Colorado 400T. Going with past experience the bleeding edge is best even if there are some bumps on the way..... I did not know about using a Palm foer the paperless, anyone have additional information as I have a Vx, and an M515 gathering dust as well as my LifeDrive which I use daily. Again I am using my car Nuvi 750 and an old GPs from my Brother-in-Law to Cache, but with the kids lovig what we have done so far and wanting to do more, more, more well a better GPS or multiple GPS units, Hello Mrs Sapce Weasel, looks to be in my future, like many of the features in both but like the radio in the 530HCx as well that can broadcast location, you know one kid here, one kid there, Dad is lost well you get the point. Is there a GPS for Dummies, or a Geocaching for Dummies so that I can sit and evaulate waht is important to me/my family as for features, or should I just go for the Colorado 400T since I have no base line? Currently we carry SWAG, paper, camera, water, radios etc.. so taking a Palm would not hurt but leaving much behind would be great so a Colorado 400TRC (R being radio, C being Camera) would be niceer yet. Garmin send my check to: The Finding Irish 4... If any one has a similar situ to mine let me know what you did and you satisifiaction level... Thanks in advance.
  17. Hello All, Looking for a little help on a new GPS, looking into a few different Garmins; Rhino 530HCx, 60CSX, and of course Coloroda 400T Like the 400t paperless function, but hear some use a Palm to eliminate paper..... If we doo this why not take a radio as well? More to the point looking at 530HCx for kids, if they are out hiking and we are camping the saftey feature looks good... How do the 530HCX and 60CSX compare feature for feature??? How would you go if you were me? Thanks
  18. Space Weasel, Let me know which way you go and what swayed your decision.... Seems GPS units and Golf Clubs have a lot in common every time you get one another comes out that will hit the ball 15 yards further, straighter, and logo my ball when I tee off... Odd I still have my old Ping Zing 2's....
  19. Hello All, I like many others I am looking to get a Colorado most likely a 400T just because it is cool, like having a touch Ipod, or Iphone.... I have a more pratical question which will/could push me in a different direction. My kids and I have started Geocashing using an old GPS or my new Nuvi 760 since the kids love to hike and cache should I go with a Two-Way Radio version like a Rhino 530HCx, or should I stay with a 60CSx and have the kids carry a radio? I like the transmit my location on the Rhino so if lost they can find me.... As for the Colorado I like the Paperless feature, bur see some people use a Palm to accomidate? If I am carrying a GPS, and a Palm, why not throw a radio in as well..... I am just looking for your experience and how you handled the situ. Thanks
