  2. Hi, I have written a small program that converts GPX files to OziExplorer WPT files. I know other programs (eg GPSBabel ) do this but the extra feature this program adds is the ability to call up the current cache page for each waypoint. As ozi waypoints have no place for a web link ( I will be contacting the author to see if he can add this in a later version) I managed to get this functionality by putting the required information in the attachment section. The downside here is you then can't have an attachment (ie picture) associated with the waypoint, but I doubt OziExplorer owners use this feature for cache waypoints. So now all you have to do is right mouse click on the waypoint, select "open file attachment" and presto your web browser displays the current geocaching.com page for this cache. (obviously this needs a live Internet connection) Another bonus of this program is that it shows the complete description of the cache, plus the cache type, terrain, and difficulty level (this information shows when you hover your mouse over a waypoint) For some reason GPSBabel seems to chop some of this information off when converting. Not sure how many other ozi caching users are out there but thought I should at least make the effort to share this small enhancement. Currently you can only convert GPX files. If there is enough demand I could also add in LOC files as well but remember these files have limited information (you don’t get the date of the cache, cache type, terrain, difficulty level) If you would like a copy just drop me a line and I will email to you.
