My final post to this topic... Did the mason and christian threads have to go through this? No. Very sad that there can't be mutual respect, there is NO REASON this thread shouldn't have turned out the same way. I did NOT go into either of those threads and question their beliefs, instead I made my own where I 'thought' I could have a similar discussion but that's just not acceptable I guess. Pathetic.

Pretty much, the 400t I believe has more leftover free space (about a gigabyte). But other than that the included map is the only difference between the 400i, 400c and 400t.

I had the 60CSx and now have the 400t and will never look back Both are great devices but I love the stuff the Colorado can do and for Geocaching it cannot be beat.

I did a quick search and although I'm sure it's been asked, I did not find it. Are there any rules against placing a cache in a campground or would I have to start my own database to setup geocaching there? You can get a daily visitor pass for a couple bucks, I don't think it would be any different than a day pass at a park that required it, would it? If it's not acceptable that's fine, I won't do it - but there are so many cool locations where we have our camper setup for the summer. I would of course get permission from the campsite owner prior to doing this, but figured I'd get a general consensus here first. I would, of course, add to the cache description that a $2-$3 fee would be required to enter.

Play-Doh is pretty common here, I've seen it a few times... I enjoy finding it because I love the smell I've never taken one though and neither has our 5 year old... she typically goes for the plastic bugs.

Eartha, I can appreciate that however my point which I failed to make was this... A regular member would not be able to read it's description or log it and therefore wouldn't know if the new cache owner changed the scope of the cache since November. It could have very well turned into a coin exchange cache , That is ALL I'm trying to say. I did not mean for it to go this far out of whack in both topic and context... it just took me until this morning to word it correctly. Edit: Team FIREBOY, thank you for the offer... very generous of you, and for what it's worth my recent comment was not directed at your response, you simply stated how you do things.

If you want a kick-butt GPS get the Colorado - you'll wonder how you got along without it, especially for geocaching.

The last two: Haven't done it or thought of it. You're a sicko! Would be nasty to find a log written in blood... and would seriously make me wonder what else happened to the cache and cache area.

You're right though, they did find it legitimately and I'm sure a non-member finding a members only cache is a rare occurrence. To Moonstar27, my apologies and I'll PM you one as well. If anyone should be reprimanded or called out in this thread it sure as heck isn't me, I did no name calling whatsoever, nor did I imply that I was better than anyone. I became a premium member for the benefits it entails, and one of those benefits 'I thought' were members only caches, if you all feel so strongly against them then fine - I for one was told it helped keep out some of the riff-raff cachers, and in this area I've had 2 caches gone missing and 2 log books taken in less than 2 weeks, so you're darned right I'd love to use a method that was harder to obtain at this point. Especially for a cache I had planned that was going to be a movie or book swap cache. How would they have known if the cache had perhaps turned into a coin exchange for example... take a coin/leave a coin. Works for me! I'm truly sorry to see that this thread has disintegrated and we can't have a normal discussion between us without it coming to this. I won't let a few ruin this for us though so with that I ask... What would you like to see on a coin? I'm looking for ideas and maybe, just maybe we can get enough people interested to make it possible. Let's get this started 1. I'm in! I'd like to see something that resembles the outdoors and the search perhaps. Not sure how that could be portrayed but I think it could be cool.

All I said was: Correcting this comment: I really dislike the idea that someone would knowingly go to a premium member only cache and take a coin meant for another premium member... the sig item, not so much.

Not all geocoins are collectible... Mine have a tracking number on them, I'd hope they get passed along as intended and not kept.

I think it's in the heading settings if I remember right, but yes... it's possible, I just don't recall exactly where it was.
