  1. Oldest is only 5, so I was planning on entering the coordinates for her (actually using this site or Garmin's site to load them). I'd need a cable for the Geko (cheap), and the 60 uses the same USB cable most my other devices use.
  2. Give gpsvp a try, works great! http://gpsvp.garminmapsearch.com/
  3. I'm looking to eventually pick up a GPS for the kids to use and I've narrowed it down to the Garmin Geko 201 and the Garmin GPS 60 (yellow one). I like the fact that they both have the games on them to help learn how to navigate using the unit, they seem durable and of course, waterproof. Is the GPS 60 worth twice the price? I have the 60CSX, so the 60 seemed like a logical choice due to being very similar. Currently leaning towards the Geko 201 for the following reasons: 1. Price 2. Size 3. Ease of use What is keeping the 60 in the picture: 1. Familiarity 2. Geocaching features built in Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

  5. Thanks for the quick response! The containers were pretty small, and actually hardly noticeable in the pictures with my daughter. Luckily I did think to move the photo spot to a different area to not give away the location, like you mentioned. Example:
  6. Went out for the first time tonight with our 5 year old daughter and had a great time. Not thinking, I took photos of her with the cache and posted them in our log. Is this acceptable? If not, I'll promptly remove them. Thanks!
