  1. Why dont you guys start you own listing site?
  2. "Tylenol" "Clariton" "Advil" "Trimoxycilan"
  3. I can't find a message about it, so which email address shall I send a mail to? jeep@geocaching.com It took a while for my confirmation message, but I got it within a day of the message...
  4. My brother's an EMT, and CPR instructor, now working on his nursing degree, he plans to be a flight nurse with one of the local helicopter rescue teams. We're both active Red Cross volunteers. I've done some training with a local Search and Rescue group, and I plan to join, but I'm still a bit to young for their liking... I'm also planning to be a ski patroller once I'm old enough. I plan to go to college to become a paramedic or a police officer, or maybe a police officer who's a paramedic. I dunno...
  5. It depends on if you have it set to remember you... I'm set so that I never have to log in, until I delete my cookies manually...
  6. The day pack that I carry when geocaching has a nice mesh waterbottle holder on the side. When bicycling or walking, I just put it in there. It works great, since my Magellan gets the signal in an upright position..
  7. How could anyone do such a horrible thing to a jeep? But seriously, that's pretty cool...
  8. *Pushes secret plans under desk* Oh no, that's not the secret plan!
  9. Right now, I'm planning a very unique cache. Because of it's nature, and general theme, it needs to be somewhere close to a closed or abandoned road. Unfortunately in my area, most roads are abandoned because of army corp of engineers dam projects. Anyway, so the cache I'm looking to place is going to definately be in a flood plain. Prone to high water a few times a year. The final stage will be an ammo can, but the first stage will be a different kind of container, completely waterproof, with no need to be opened or closed. Anyway, I'm wondering what kinds of precautions people take in areas that caches may be prone to simply floating away. Also, if you think you can help me with the first stage mystery container, and your non-local to Pennsylvania, PM me and I'll give you details...
  10. Come on, there's gotta be more Geocaching Jeepsters.. I know for a fact that at a recent cache event, I bumped into at least three jeep owners...
  11. My theory is that SUV's just give people a feeling of safety allowing them to do even stupider and more dangerous things than they'd normally do...
  12. Another problem with cache rating, similar to what Brian pointed out is that people see caches at different stages in it's life.... The first guy who comes to a cache may find awesome prizes and great swag, that guy rates it a 5 out of 5. Two weeks and ten visits later, the cache isn't so good, mostly broken toys and golf balls, the guy who finds it then might rate it a one. So basically, the whole rating system would be screwed up just that quickly..
  13. If there's a new cache out, or an area that we want to go out and try and clean up the caches we wake up around six. Of course, we're procrastinators, so the jeep isn't actually out of the driveway until around nine...
  14. You shouldn't need to activate it... Just go to jeep.geocaching.com and enter it in and there's the site. But if you're sure that it needs activate it, you might have gotten one that was missed in the mass activation, and you'll probably need to email TPTB...
  15. Stupid response....
  16. The TeamK-9 GeoJeep: We got it used from a friend my dad had at the dealership for around $2700. We're planning to do some work on it, but my dad's afraid to lift it or put on bigger tires because he doesn't want to spend more on upgrades then he did on the truck itself.
  17. Hey sparky, is the light rack on top new? I don't think I've seen it before in any of the pictures you've showed... Anyway, I got a 1996 Jeep Cherokee 2 Door just a few months ago. It's not quite stock, it has a few minor upgrades and tweaks, mostly just aesthetic type stuff. But we found out the other day that it is actually a very capable off-road vehicle, as it got us quite a bit down a very very rough fire road, I think farther than the trucks it's intended for have ever gone...
  18. I know alot of geocachers including myself, have Jeeps. And I know that I didn't get my Jeep until after I started caching, and that the purchase of the Jeep was greatly influenced by Geocaching. So my questions are: How many of you had Jeeps before you started caching? How many of you recently bought a Jeep, with the decision being influenced by Geocaching? How many of you had YELLOW Jeeps before you started geocaching? How many of you bought Yellow Jeeps after you started caching? (Feel free to post pictures)
  19. I think it would be really cool, but it's a bit of a drive for me...
  20. Is there any way to specifically request a certain waypoint name for a cache or is it just completely random?
  21. yep Oh man, that's what I was just about to suggest. I had this really awesome one that had the logo of an outdoors club that I belong to on it but I just recently broke the cap, but I'm planning on ordering another cap, and maybe one of the new next generation nalgenes, I could put one of my extra GEO stickers on it...
  22. Yep, that's the one.... Just for the heck of it, I went to the local sporting goods store and bought a can of blaze orange paint, I then proceeded to spray the ammo can with it. I now notice I should have put a base coat of white or something but I can fix this.... Anyway, my idea is to take the now day-glow orange cache and hide it somewhere so devious that it won't make a difference what color it is...
  23. Yah, some kind of mediation program might work, but not a full blown out court thingy...
  24. magellan sportrak map
  25. You've met us. I don't know if that really counts though, cause I don't think we introduced ourselves, and I doubt you probably knew who we were until afterward. We worked with you on the pond at the Highland Park Cito... But I don't mind being forgotten, I'm not a very rememberable guy... Something I didn't say is that the one major cacher that I'd like to meet is Mtn-man, he just seems like an awesome guy, and he's definately a good and interesting cacher.
