  1. Well the trip has long since come and past, but I'd thought I'd check back in. It was on for the ages. Here's some totals: Vodkas drinken in first class: 9 Miles on rental car: 1500 States traveled: NJ,NY,CT,RI,MA,ME,NH,VT,PA 31 caches found, and at least one in every state. The East Coast was a blast. I'd go again in a heart beat. Here I am getting grabbed by a New York City Police Officer. I'm always in trouble....
  2. Congrats to Willapa who found his 500th! at Champoeg state park.
  3. Got my coin today, it's great! thanks.
  4. July something...rather This time I'm going for Pyramid, or Mirror Pond. The bad news is I'll have to bring it up from Portland, so it will be half empty. No wait, I'm a half full kinda guy.......
  5. I'll change mine too....
  6. I had all but two. thanks for the heads up!
  7. I have a PDF file of them. Send me an email, and their yours.
  8. The trip is just 8 days away, and I can hardly wait. Thanks to everyone who suggested caches for the route. The route and caches look like this:
  9. Willapa and I will be flying into Newark, NJ on May 19th. We will be geocaching along this route: If anyone has a travel bug they would like to head that way, send me an email.
  10. Yes August 2nd. No work that week. But the 6th will work too, hell any weekend works for me.
  11. Congrats to Willapa who found his 400th cache during the Wenatchee Cache Machine.
  12. Packanack, I'm sure all the places you mentioned do indeed deserve more than one day to fully take them in, and I wish I had a month off to visit the East Coast, but I don't. dadgum the Lottery! Anyway, Willapa and I just want to balance the trip between caching(the reason behind the trip) and taking in the sights, food, culture etc... Even though I know we'll miss a lot of great stuff, I'm sure this will be the caching trip of a lifetime. Can't wait till may 19th!
  13. I've updated the route picture. I've removed Yarmouth,NS. Moved driving to Bar Harbor(now via Highway 1), and moved the NH route north to include White Mountain National Forest. thanks again.
  14. Thanks already for the advice, I'm bookmarking caches as we speak. And will be adjusting the route. We were hoping to hit 10 to 20 caches a day. Not so many we miss out on the scenery. I can't wait. I will be placing 4 Washington geocoins as well.
  15. Willapa and I will be flying into Newark on May 19th. Below is the rough draft route we were thinking of driving. We will be here from 5/19-5/24. If anyone can link some "must do" caches we could bookmark on the route, that would be great. We would like to know if anyone thins the route is too ambitious for 5 days. thanks.
  16. I'll contact CCal, and if she hasn't had any takers, I'll put a new can out there. It was my first FTF, and bubble_luscious's first find, so I'd hate to see it go.
  17. Navdog may have to update the design.............
  18. Looks alot like a Magellan owner doesn't he? this pic also from Indieclub.com :
  19. Just found this on an Indie movie web site: Indieclub.com member Hallie Shepard had this on her profile: Filming on "GPS" has wrapped and we are in the post-production/editing stage. Check out the soon-to-be updated www.gpsthemovie.com for details on this suspense/thriller feature that I recently produced, co-wrote, and acted in with many IndieClub.com members, including IndieClub.com President Eric Colley (director, producer, co-writer). So where does one go to watch "Indie" films? That's her I guess holding a GPSr.
  20. Saw this on KOMO: OLYMPIA - Bones found in a park in Olympia have been identified as those of a teenager who ran away from a hospital nearly nine years ago. Investigators say they now face a daunting task in trying to determine the cause of death of 15-year-old Katrina Nash of Olympia. sad.
