  1. I feel so dumb, I bought this one on EBay! Luckily, I was the only bidder, and paid the same price.
  2. The race is fixed, fixed I tell you! Nicely done, Shilo! Man, you really have to keep an eye on these standings, they are on the move.
  3. I agree, but as stated, it's just advice. I so want to trade you one of these! Especially if you get a plain metal version. As a matter of fact, I'm willing to put one of my coins in the mail right now, just to make sure I get one. Absolutely beautiful coin, with an awesome message. So take our advice or leave it, but get this to the mint!
  4. I whole heartedly agree. If we want to promote truth in coining, without saddling one person with tons of research, this is the way to go. Each coiner posts his own stuff, and we all reap the benefit. Now, I know there are coiners that don't come to the forums ( ) but we could get alot of info in there. And if you have a website with that info already, a simple link would do. There are a lot of trading sites that do this, so I think we should do it as well. Just my $.02
  5. A Arizona 2006 (Thanx, LadyBee4T), a Galahad and a king Arthur from Wykenwizard, and a Groundspeak Lackeys 2009. Our places we've lived series is complete, now I just have to get to the Lily Pad to dip the Lackey coin!
  6. Yeah, thanx for the congrats, and thanx to Flying Dad for the mileage! It's definately a close one, with 3 miles difference. I just hope we all get in on some long hops. I'll add my thanx to Shiloh, as well. This is much cooler than I thought it be (of course, I'm near the top, so that might have something to do with it), since it gives you a gauge of how far different coins go, and how many times they are handled. I'm excited, and not just for my traveling coin, but for the one that ain't doing so hot!
  7. Thanx, nefesh! You can't buy an endorsement like that!
  8. Well, I'd like to say i did something exciting and meaningful, but it came down to chores. I did laundry, walked the dog, did the dishes, cleaned the guestroom, went through some boxes from the move 8 monthes ago, and then I went to work. That's about it.
  9. Thanx, Eartha. I did this last minute before going to work. What happened to the Edit Button?
  10. Okay, so I have been spending money on coins lately. ALOT of money. So, the CINC-House (my wife), has decreed that I must stop, or sell some of my personals. To all of you who have traded, thank you very much...and that won't stop. But for those who still want, here's your chance. 11. The minimums, for tracking numbers and icon, is 50 now, I believe. In most cases, the more you order, the cheaper they are. But you can always order more later, or in different finishes, and I believe you can mix and match any batch (For example, if you wanted 50 just metal and 50 with enamel). The best advice I can give you at this point is to ask alot of questions of your coin company. Try to get them on the phone, if possible, since it's hard to get some things across in email. This is definately something you don't want to have to do over. I probably sent 30 emails, and had 4 long conversations with my coin company, but in the end, it turned out exactly how I wanted it. And I would definately work with that company again, so that's not a complaint. It's your coin, make sure it's what you want.
  12. I agree. In order to make the text flow, and take up some more of the empty space, you could move the text "Requires a different kind of GPS" to the top. That way, you read "This Cache", flip it over, then read the rest. Then you could put your caching name at the bottom without disturbing the flow. Then you got your personal, and a proclamation of faith. I think the coin looks great. I would choose gold if you go with the color. Bronze would be my metal of choice without color, since just gold is a little ostentatious, and silver...well, in this case, that just brings other things to mind. Just keep in mind, in most cases you can do samples of both color and non, so you can get a feel for it. Preorders are always good, are you selling them yourself? If so, reservations might be better, as PayPal frowns upon payments for items that don't exist yet. Also, talk to your minter, and see what kind of seller services they offer. This will also help you decide how many to mint. Remember, if you are going to GCF, you will probably need more than you think. And keep some for trades...especially with me. Just my $.02 (which somewhere during the typing became more like $1.50)
  13. Here's our Top 5 (for now): 1. Arizona 2006 (Yellow Jeep) 2. Crown of Thorns 3. Wykenwizard 4. Lucky Mystery Coin (the one with the gragon and Lion-dogs on it) 5. YAAHL`S FEATHER
  14. I activate the ones I really like. Then I take them to events to discover. We have a Geocoin Coffee event we're gonna start doing monthly in Las Vegas, since the first one was such a hit, and many cachers take thier collections there.
  15. I am looking for a Yellow Jeep Fever - Arizona 2006 geocoin. I am willing to trade pretty much anything on my list for one, and will even pay cash. It's the last one we need in a series depicting where our family has been stationed (i even designed the Okinawa coin so there would be one). Thanx.
  16. Well, the mission packet arrived today for R0ckM0nkey...at least I assumed so, it has resisted all my efforts to open it. It must know I'm not an Agent. R0ckM0nkey will be back from his Grandma's in a week, I'll make sure he getts his mission and send it on as soon as possible. He told me on the phone he is eady to complete his mission AT ALL COSTS...kinda scary, actually
  17. Yeah, that sucks. Not sure how someone could do that to another person. My condolences. We've marked you as a prefered seller, so you can bet we're gonna try to help you out!
  18. That coin is awesome! I definately have one of ours for you when the trading begins!
  19. We're in! Clan Doyle Papa and R0ckM0nkey will be there. Thanx for offering the Gold Kid's registration, R0ckM0nkey loves pins and should have a blast.
  20. We're so gonna want to trade for this one! I like the fist holding a GPS, that is awesome! Very nicely done.
  21. I haven't gotten to that point...they are still all over my desk. Some did make it into a binder, though. Here's the info I used: The Custom Geocoin Binder. I'm thinking of putting the foam and coins in a hard plastic card holders, but we'll see. I hope this helps!
  22. Hopefully you'll have some left at GCF. I'll be looking for you...in a totally friendly and noncreepy way
