Dave w/o id, one of NY's active cachers, will be in the Stonybrook Long Island area on Saturday. He's staying for about a week. I know all this because he's my boss' cousin. I've emailed back and forth with him a few times and he is interested in meeting some cachers out here on the island. (mac, he mentioned you in particular.) Since Squealy and I are headed south on Thursday, we won't be able to meet up with him. Anyone interested can send him an email. He seems nice.

LOL. I wasn't requesting a FL event, I was just looking for ones to attend on the drive home. you know, anything in the works... Unless anyone can let me in on the plans, I guess I'll just have to check the events when it gets closer to July/August.

Just wondering if there are any events for the end of July/beginning of August that will be worth the drive. I plan on taking a roadtrip from FL to New Orleans, and then make my way back to NY. I'd like to hit up a few good events on my way and wouldn't mind a detour if its worth the drive. Any thing in the works yet?

Well, I can safely say this is an awesome cache. Joe definitely spent A LOT of time placing it and it shows. Headed out there tonight with Squealy, Macatac 1961, Blackbuck, and Waterspyder, and was followed by the Devil duckies. Glad we had Buck along. I definitely felt safer out there in those woods! Waste no time and head out to this one. The drive is worth it. Thanks Joe! I really loved it! You rock!

bump anyone have a list of night caches on LI? They dont have to be actual "night" caches like Chandler Estate Nightmare but ones that at least available at night. hmm joe you owe me for that plug.

Hashing is fun. They do it a lot in the ex-pat countries and its huge in Malaysia and Brunei. We have a NY chapter here. It's fun to run them, but be ready for the unexpected. Oh yeah, I'd def be in for the Rally as long as its not in the beginning of July. edit: punctuation
