  6. Hello Team Jack Quest, I've enjoyed discovering four JQ-00X caches, each with its own unique character that made the find all the more satisfying. Thanks for some great adventures in some of the nicest natural areas in Pennsylvania. Best of luck with your relocation. Cachier "When you find it, its always in the last place you look."
  7. I had a similar experience a few years ago during the days of SA. I was approximately 3 miles from the launch complex at Cape Canaveral in Florida. At a wide-open area of beach at Canaveral National Seashores. I was unable to get a lock on a single satelite and essentially, had no GPS service for the 4-hours that I was there. That same day, I used it down the beach about 30 miles, it worked just fine. "When you find it, its always in the last place you look."

  10. I bought my Yellow Etrex when they were first advertised in the hiking magazines. Then, most of my hikes were defined loop trails or out and back hikes. Geocaching gave the gadget a real purpose. Now, not only do I find caches but I can usually find my way back to the car afterward. "When you find it, its always in the last place you look."
  11. OK...somebody's got to say it. Just another bunch of horney guys "When you find it, its always in the last place you look."

I wrote to them and got a confirmation of renewal about 10 days later. I'm still not comfortable giving my credit card to PayPal. "When you find it, its always in the last place you look."

  23. I was transcribing a wet log book when I saw this entry. "12/14/01 My huband found this cache during hunting season. He brought it home with him, before reading it. I read it and told him he had to return it. Nothing taken." (Following lined out by writer: "Put in a candy or to in case someone gets thirsty.") "Good luck to all of you, and have lots of fun. I did enjoy reading this log. We have no .com Jo & Dick P.S. Put in a pencil took out the candy. My husband said it wasn't a good idea. Nice thought though."
