  1. Micro's a sore subject. A 35mm film canister on a dead end road sign ain't bad, even a 5" long 3" round pill bottle with a 2" mouth opening stuck in some small tree trunk hollow, ok BUT I HATE those balsted pen cap pog tubes evn a 2"x4" pog tube up a tree or someother impossible place. There is micro and there is MICRO. Mostly I avoid them now. I also wish there was a way to identif them from regular caches in the listings.(oops that's another group)

I don't know squat! Any suggestions, what should I be looking for? This will be primarily with my Legend and for Gecoaching. Thanks, Firehouse16 & Code3 "Dave, Teresa & the 2 kids" I started with the Palm III-e but with only 2 megs of memory it would not hold much of a map and black and white was bad. I wanted color and was trying to get a Palm IIIc from e-bay but I didn't want to pay $100+. I was about to get a Palm 505 when I discovered the Palm 515 twice the memory at 16 meg PLUS expantion slot. It looks as if it was being discontinued and under $200, the Palm store had an open box at a good discount. Freeware "Navigador"(spelled that way and the one I use all the time) and "cotoGPS" are exelant. DeLome and Rand McNally have software for maps (old maps but generally will get you around ok) If you aren't going to use the maps you will not need much memory and 4-8 megs is sufficient. GPS software and waypoints don't take up that much room.
