My Garmin eTrex Legend tends to shut off on its own and then display a blank screen with a blue line down the middle. If I remove the batteries, I can turn it back on but it is just a matter of time until the black screen and blue line return. Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am relatively new to geocaching and am interested in attempting a night cache. I was hoping people familiar with the North Kitsap area might be able to provide me with the titles of such caches so that I may check them out. I appreciate any and all help.

While caching this weekend, I had problems with the navigation screen on my Garmin Legend. The compass arrow pointed in the opposite direction of the cache. There was a dotted line down the middle of the compass and there was an indication of 0.25mi on the compass screen. I have never seen these things on the screen and they negatively impacted my searching. Anyone know what is happening and/or how I can correct it?
