  1. GW5? Am I invited? It's not close by, is it? Nudecacher Awwwwww man! Just realized where you are from. I was going to suggest a group photo. Tastefully done as you always do of course! X I've been in a number of group photos. Oh, you mean Nudecacher style! I'd be game, but I doubt that everyone else there would. Nudecacher I sincerely doubt that we could get everyone else, BUT I like the way you think! Keep doing what you are doing, I see absolutely nothing wrong with what you do, of course just with what you do I seriously doubt you care that you get others approval. X

  3. I have to admit that I really like the audit logs and didn't know about them until I made a MOC. Say what you like, I like knowing who is going after this certain cache of mine. I have reasons..... X
  4. Are you sure you mean Palm TX? Because if you do and you find any for $40 I want 10 of them! Seriously, good luck finding a TX for $40! X
  5. South Carolina. Mother of All Caches. Yes people will go fo it. X
  6. I have heard from a couple of surplus stores that the military may be switching to a biodegradable type ammo can that will be more "earth friendly" I guess. Now if they are right or wrong I don't know. Just what I was told. X
  7. This is true. Two of the caches we visited were truly awesome. X
  8. Where geocaching is concerned, value is based on the mindset of the cacher. Come on CR.... Why do folks aspire to get an APE cache? AT LEAST part of the reason is that coveted icon. Thank you. YOU just proved my point. If it ever happens, you may hafta reconsider that foregone conclusion. To each their own. I'd buy a custom icon for all of my regular caches. I'd buy a custom icon for Quantum Leap. I'd buy a custom icon for all of One degree of Separation caches (369 of 'em at last count and growing every day) and share it with ODS hiders if Grounspeak would allow it. Revenue for GC.com, happy icon ho's, and a quick visual reference to flex the GeoTourism muscle. Uhhh, win-win-win..... Ya know the icon was nice last weekend I have to admit. BUT, the trip wasn't about an icon, it wasn't about the cache, it was about the trip. We took a road trip that we just happened to cache while we were on it. I think that to drive almost 1000 miles in a weekend for an icon would be extremely stupid. I have to back up CR on this one. Of course everyone is going to play the game the way they want to play, that will never change. X
  9. It was! About a thousand miles of driving, caching (both the day and night variety) in between and several tanks of gas later and here we are! Had an awesome road trip this weekend with G28. SC to MD and back.
  10. This really puts me in mind of that old saying of give a hundred monkeys a hundred typewriters.........well you guys can fling poo and eat bannanas and use twigs for tools and such I got a heavy day tommorow. X "C'mon you apes, you want to live forever?" Johnny Rico / Starship Troopers
  11. Do you really think this is helping? X
  12. Hmmmmmmmmm...... Why does the SC_Reviewer hide his/her/their identity? Could it be because it keeps people guessing? Could it be so that he/she/they can cache in peace? Could it be just because of some folks talking crap about them? Could it be because some cannot grow up and just cache as you will? I have often wondered who the Reviewer is. Do I know? Maybe. Do I want to tell anyone? No. Would I tell anyone if I really knew? No. The Reviewer has kept his/her/their identity secret for a reason only known to them. So let's respect that. I am surprised at some of the views that have been made public about this particular subject. I am even more surprised by some of the people making these things public. Respectfully, X
  13. I will probably get flamed for this BUT....you know what nevermind. CACHE ON!
  14. Then you need to get out more and visit these other groups. USCGA has some good things going on but there are so many other cachers to meet and things to see. Come on over. X SCPC
  15. Yeah I agree. And not because you do most of the driving. We have moved past this particular subject down here but still walk on eggshells around it. I myself have permission to hide one in a particular area that is a gravesite. I don't. Know why? More trouble. In the end the reviewers word is law as far as placement goes in most situations. So I am sorry if yours does not get placed, but, rules are rules. X
  16. Well I guess I am. Incorrect is after all incorrect. With all due respect. X
  17. Geocaching was NOT banned anywhere in the state of South Carolina. Statements like this that were not researched but were just taken as truth were part of the problem we had. Though I don't agree with hiding in a cemetery the OP as the right to pursue this. I also don't agree with lamp post micros but some folks love them. To each his own. Get your facts straight. X
  18. I agree! (sorry, I couldn't resist) I second that motion I 3rd that motion Really though I think it comes from people not knowing how to use the forum properly. Yeah, that drives me nuts too. I think people should stop doing that. Seriously, this question has crossed my mind more than once. If I am responding only to the person above me, I usually don't use quotes. It doesn't make sense to me to do so. Well I kinda like the quotes. Everything i need is right there and i don't have to scroll back up.
