  1. I have had my Nuvi 200W do this several times. It goes to the nearest point on a road then straight lines to the cache. It has no problems when you get off road(crash, lost, etc). If the cache is way off road, i usually switch to off road mode to make it easier to locate.
  2. I have used a Nuvi 200W and really like it. I was experiencing low battery life recently and sent it back for replacement. If you can't find a cache in 4 hours of battery life, you probably do need a GPS suited for hiking.
  3. Sure, you can just send a cache as you would any other GPS. The problem is that the units "lock to the road", so they don't quickly leave the road when you do. And second there is no compass screen, so getting to the "zero" location is a challenge. It has pedestrian and off road settings. I use mine to find caches exclusively.
  4. I use my Nuvi 200W for the hunt and the find. I went paperless about a month ago and love it. GSAK and the macro for loading POIs with logs is great!
  5. I have been working on this tonight and had the same problem with no 'more' button appearing. I upgraded to the latest POI loader version and it now works great. I have the 200W. Rob
