download CacheMate into palm with SD card?
39chevy replied to uxorious's topic in GPS technology and devices
I use HotSync Manager 7.0.2 to Hotsync my Palm Tungsten E with my 64bit Windows 7 laptop. Works well except Gsak doesn't send the pdb file to the right place so i have to track it down and drag it to the Hotsync manager. It also has Palm Desktop by ACCESS version 6.2.2. ACCESS Systems Americas, Inc (formerly PalmSource, Inc) Mostly i use my windows XP desktop. -
Bringing attention to a potential problem

Someone could just ask Hotel Security, or is that too simple? -
I just watched an annoying video about a lame non geocaching idea.

I hope the Iowa reviewer tries for lots of FTFs, and gets them. The last i heard he lived in Wisconsin. I don't see how there is an advantage on a traditional cache if the reviewer waits until it is published before searching.

Works fine for me with IE and Firefox.

While I know the difference, I really have no way of knowing that I'm looking for a PMO cache when I'm actually looking for it. My GPS doesn't tell me and it's not like the container is a different color or anything. Of the ten caches that I found last week, I have no idea how many, if any are PMO. Having been a PM since 6/05, it's really the last thing that I think of when geocaching. I'm afraid that I could easily make the same mistake if I were to take a new person out because I'm simply not paying attention to such things. If you are not a premium member you will not be able to see PMO caches, your GPS will only show caches you put in it. You do "see" them online via a computer but you dont see the coordinates for them. When an area is so full of PMO caches, its really annoying to go through the list to find a cache that is a non PMO cache. That wasnt an issue for me, but of where this OP was caching in is could be annoying. God forbid anyone being annoyed.

Trying to figure out what this has to do with the OP.

Surprise...Geocaching.com is not a 'not for profit' organization. It costs money to run and you want to complain about the members who support it. If you don't want to buy a premium membership then don't cry about not having premium member priviledges.

If you find any of my caches and don't sign the paper log your online log will be canceled. I have only deleted one online log...he logged it twice.

When traveling to a foreign country dedicated GPS receivers have to "learn" where they are when they are turned on. Do smart phone GPS receivers have to learn their location also?

It works ok for me.

Our elected representatives cannot be "bought" however they can be rented rather cheaply. Being bought implies ownership, these clowns change more often than your undies.

Here's a thought or two: Maybe minorities don't want to spend time looking for tupperware in the woods and lifting lamp post skirts. Why does it matter?

Hints that are not hints - WHY REVIEWERS?
39chevy replied to AmishHacker's topic in General geocaching topics
For all of you who think this is something a Volunteer reviewer should correct, i'm sure they can and will do a lot of extra work if you want to pay them $25-$30 per hour plus benefits. I don't, i think they do a great job (and cheap too). I have no idea what a premium membership would cost but it wouldn't be cheap. -
CacheSense - Why the huge increase in time!?

1) You get what you pay for. I don't think a Ford Dealer will do warranty work on a Honda unless he is a Honda dealer too. 2) You work for Groundspeak? You seem to KNOW a lot about what they do. Since you are an EXPERT software developer send your resume to Groundspeak and help them out.
