I would like to trade for an ACTIVATED Volunteer Coin. If any of you wonderful volunteers are interested please email me and we can work something out.

I'd also be interested in trading for one of these IF it was activated by the volunteer first. It would be very cool to get one from a volunteer that I've actually met.

What do people think about these bonuses the mint throws in? Are they really worth putting on the list? It's not like they're going to be traded or anything. My 1 gold Vargseld coin is on the list right now, but really who cares besides me?

It's true, the Elvis coins are all over the place! Why, I was taking a bathroom break between caches today and what should I find sitting on the john but an Elvis... coin.

Unless the subject of the email was the same as in the email link on the page of numbers I may have missed it. I just use gmails search function to bring up everything I've gotten titled "Number of a coin minted". I thought I had included all of the other emails, but I'm not perfect. Posting the quantities right in this thread is the best way to do it, since there no way I could end up losing it.

I've heard that scalloped edges, like on the GHOST margarita coin, will tarnish over time when exposed to the air. I was kind of paranoid about that, so my margarita coin was put into an air tight case and has never been taken out. This makes it hard to put in my binder, since it has to go into one of the extra large pages. Are the edges of anyone elses coin starting to tarnish? Am I just over reacting?

I got a relativly low numbered Vacman coin today. A bit large, but a really great looking coin. Can anyone tell me something about them? I hear there's 2 different series/editions of them.

Why would having the artist's sig on the coin be a problem? Because the way he signed other coins I have, is, in my opinion, a total eye sore. It wasn't incorporated into the image at all.

I just hope the artist doesn't leave his signature on the coin, like on some of the other ones out there.

There's nothing at all wrong with taking travel bugs or geocoins out of your own cache. Likewise, there's nothing wrong with putting them in yourself. Just log it as a note and not a find on the cache page.
