Try to imagine how such a "rule" would work. Who would enforce it? How? Why? What would be the rationale for such a rule? If I want to make a Martian coin, who am I hurting or even inconveniencing?

How secure is it? I have people in and out of my office all the time. I wouldn't want a display I couldn't at least make challenging for people to remove coins from.

Interesting that most who responded traded rather than sold their personal coins. Is there some stigma attached to selling ones personal coin? Surely there are lots of coins for sale. I am new to the hobby and haven't amassed enough to trade yet. I can only get them by buying them. Is there some disgrace attached to a "bought and paid for" coin? When I buy a coin, I generally buy 3: 1 keep and 2 traders. When they get delivered, I will have something to trade. Will I have to trade my keepers away so that my collection is pure? How is trading coin for coin better than trading coin for $coin$? Maybe I'm reading too much into the thread. Nomad of Nomad and the Librarians It's all about the books.
