  1. We cannot feel or hear the new “close to cache notification” as our iPhone is in a protective rubber shell to save it from the numerous drops that happen when caching. Could you not keep the original ding as an option?
  2. Oops, yes I said iPhone 2 on my initial post when I meant iPad 2.
  3. The latest update caused the App to crash on my iPhone 5. Delete and reinstall the App. I tried that without any change. I get a message to turn off airplane mode as it can't find my location.- but it is always turned off. I just discovered that if I search using the magnify icon and look for my postcode, the maps do load and I can scroll around to where I really want to see. Not an ideal solution. The classic app works ok so it must be an app problem rather than my iPad.
  4. Is anyone else having a problem with the new app on iPhone2? Since the latest update, I cannot get any of the maps to load. It was not a problem before and is not a problem on myiPhone.
  5. While navigating to a cache, you can add custom waypoints. Add a new waypoint, and the compass immediately points to it, and coordinates are displayed. At least that's what happens on iPhone. I tried to check it on my Droid just now, and cache info is not loading, so I can't verify the exact same thing happens on Android. But I know you can add waypoints and navigate to them on the Official App on both types of phones. Thanks for pointing this out- I just tried it and it works on my iPhone
  6. Great news- I stayed with the Classic App as I needed to save track maps for offline use as the mobile signal is very poor here. At last I can now start using the new app. What would be a useful addition when caching a multi, would be the ability to put coordinates into the compass? It would save having to open a compass app, some of which are not very good.
  7. I am pleased that the "new" app now shows tracks and footpaths. I can save a list and see it on the map when online, but I can't see how to save both the list and the map for offline use. On the "classic" app I could save caches and open cycle map for offline use. Is this enabled yet, and if so how do I do it?
