Is it possible to do a search for Geocachers? I mean for cachers with maybe an 'x' 'y' or 'z' at the beginning of their name in order to fulfil a puzzle cache requirenment. I know its possible to search for cachers whose name you know, but what about those you don't?

Nope, there's no way to customize the order in which they're displayed on the website. Alphabetical is all there is. As a side note, they're listed in reverse chronological order (ie. most recent at the top) in the official Geocaching app for iPhone. Ah, as I thought - and unfortunately I am one of the few people who don't possess an iphone

Is it possible to change the order of the souvenirs? I would rather have them in order of the date I got them, than alphabetical.

No, but I did a virtual cache somewhere in the States, so that might be the cause. You mean you both did "What in the World Cache" without actually going? Tut tut, armchair caching! (P.S. That gives you the Maine souvenir) I did that one too - but deleted it when it screwed with my Furthest West stats. Then made the mistake of logging the Californian "Apollo Fir" - which is now locked so I can't delete my log. Interestingly, I haven't got a California souvenir yet...... I did a virtual cache in Germany, got an email saying I would get a souvenir. It never showed up. When I emailed geocaching they said we are probably not giving them out on virtual caches.

If you go to post a note do you see the coin in your Drop inventory? I forgot to drop it off when I first entered the log, so went back to edit it. The coin did not show up. In the end I had to delete the log and start again, then it showed up in my inventory. Strange! Have not had that problem before.

Talking of people not logging their TBs - I am trying to drop off a coin (in my log - I already dropped it physically!) but its not showing on my log page. So if that happens to people and they give up, then the coin is not shown in the right place. All the fault of the website not working correctly. Although I have to say that I think the site is great. Generally speaking it does what you want of it.
