  1. if you'll ship to UK, count me in for 3 please.
  2. Certainly can, however I am not looking to get anybody into trouble, I would just like my TB back in circulation. Is there someway I can let you have the person's name etc without publishing it for all to see?
  3. Personally I see nothing wrong in the "Park & Ride" Caches., having placed 6 historic caches which get a lot of visits I thought it would be fun to do a few "quickies", and "no" to the person who thought they might be boring, all of my caches are placed in woodland, slightly away from the actual "Park & Ride". There are people out there doing it purely as a numbers game - and good luck to them. I can assure you I have done much more uninteresting, boring and sometimes quite dangerous caches. So don't knock those of us who are trying to make things a bit more fun and interesting for other cachers. Caching should be a fun hobby where you sometimes meet (at Meets) others with a like interest, don't let's degenerate it into a moaning, arguing - "My cache is better than yours!!" argument. Let everybody have fun and play the game as it suits them. Surely this is no worse than any other cache. Let people enjoy themselves and do what caches they wish, after all nobody is making them do them. It's purely a matter of choice. Incidentally we go to great lengths to make sure our "historic" caches are accurate and of interest, and enjoyable for all concerned and have gone to a lot of trouble to get permission to place these caches where needed on private land.
  4. Having had my TB either lost or stolen, I am now anxious to activate the copy TB. How exactly do I go about this please?
  5. Thanks for your reply. No, I know who took the travel bug Spinetta, that person kindly e mailed us and said Clankenn Highlander wasn't there in the cache at that time, it was the cacher before them who wrote in the paper log that they had taken the TB, but when it came to logging it on line said "TNLN". When I e mailed him and asked why in the paper log he said he took it, but on line said he took nothing. He said he was 98% sure he didn't take it. I can accept that perhaps sometimes these bugs are lifted and lost, we can all do things like that but it's just not knowing what happened to it. Unfortunately it was one of a series all of my Birman cats which I had sent on specific missions. C'est la vie, very annoying but I will have to get another TB and hope I have better luck next time.
  6. Our Travel Bug ClanKenn Highlander - Connor has gone missing from Lacock Revisited cache. It was placed on 27 July 2008 and is still listed as being there. However, we visited the cache today and the TB is missing. A note in the log states that it had been removed by a cacher on 16 August, but he has firmly denied all knowledge. Any information would be gratefully recieved. The reference number is TB26Z0T. <tracking number removed by moderator, reference number inserted instead>
  7. At a recent cache meet we came across a couple of really cool - extra large geocoins. Can anybody tell me where I can get one please?
  8. I am looking for an unactivated GC from Yosemite National Park to buy - it will need to be shipped to UK. I have very fond memories of the park and want a GC to keep that can be discovered at events. Many thanks.
  9. Thanks everyone for responding. The TB has now been recovered and is waiting to be moved on.
  10. Anybody have a unactivated Yosemite TB or Coin for sale please?, likewise I am also looking for an Alaskan unactivated TB or Coin.
  11. Anybody have a unactivated Yosemite TB or Coin for sale please?, likewise I am also looking for an Alaskan unactivated TB or Coin.
  12. size=4] Please, Please, Please. Is anyone going to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands in the near future. We planted a TB there in the COFETTE cache on 1st July and unfortunately nobody has visited the cache since. We would really like to see the TB moved on and would be very grateful if a fellow cacher would make the effort to do the cache - it is actually quite a dramatic setting and well worth the journey. This cache does require the use of an off-road vehicle as the roads are not made up.
  13. My daughter and I got our Coins from Milletts today - had to go over to Wales to collect them. When we got home, although there was the tracking No.s on the front of the coins there was nothing on the packaging to indicate the activation Codes. The packaging incidentally was the little plastic coin pouches. Where can I get hold of the Activation codes please? Clankenn
