  1. Hi there. New to this as well. I see that there is a masonic geocoin for sale on ebay where a portion of the sale goes to English lodges. Would be fun if a group of us could form and do something similar. Fraternally Bro. Brett Bayley Caledonia 486, Bakersfield CA.
  2. Hi Calpurnius here. New and shiny cache hunter cheking in.
  3. Yes I have a 4GB SD card and I have had no problems with it. Be aware that the more expensive cards usually offer quicker upload and downloading of information. Happy trails 73 Calpurnius
  4. The Magellan Explorist 500 LE comes with an installation CD and a second CD for Mapsend. If you install the installation CD on your PC one of the programs will be Magellan GeoCache Manager. You will need to open this program up, have your Magellan Explorist 500 LE hooked up via the provided USB cable to the PC and set to communicate on USB mode. 1) OK, ready? Log on to Geocache.com and goto a list of geocaches you are intrested in searched on Hide and seek a cache. you see that little check box to the right...check it. OK. Now scroll down the page untill you see the button marked Download Waypoints? Click it. 2) You'll be prompted to find a place to save this file on your P.C. I have created a specific folder for this. When you are ready click save. 3) Click on your Magellan Geocache Manager program and click on the folder icon to open up the saved list of geocache coordinates. Youll see them displayed on the screen. 4) When you are ready to download all these files click on the little satellite icon to download the info to your GPS. The transfer range will be all geocaches. Thats it. Open up the file in your GPS unit, usually saved under geocache waypoints and go off hunting. Good Luck 73 Calpurnius
