  1. I've been struggling to come up with a signature item that both reflects my personality and doesn't offend the PMRC, the PTA, and PETA. The last thing i want to do is piss off Tipper Gore, Barbara Eden, and Belinda Carlisle. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed

  3. Had to archive Garden Shmarden in Silverton. That's okay, because it was lame. I may have to archive Oregone History Lesson #1 because i group of activists/reed students/city of portland employees are reforesting the area. Good for them! all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed
  4. I might have the use of a motorboat for that weekend... The key word there is might. Anyone have any waterskis? There's a floating ski-jump not to far from the champoeg dock that is just begging for a cache. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed

It's only 50 miles from my house. Only 8 more mcmenamins to visit, and you can find bellemanda and explosis's Hammerhead cache! all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed
  11. Trying to explain geocaching to a college friend last week via the email... When i finally talked to him over the phone, he kept pronouncing it "geo-Ka-Ching!" like it was some sort of terra-based cash register. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed

  14. My guess is that Washington DC would win that one because of the 16,000 virtuals they have. I know, i know, that's not a state. So maybe New Jersey would win. I think you could fit three New Jerseys in Portland's Forest Park. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed

  16. I give myself very good advice but i very seldom follow it. I've promised myself that i would never again post on the general forums about as many times that i've promised myself that i would never log a locationless geocache. Leave Burning Man alone. It's no worse than what we do. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed

    Boise!

i THINK it will fit in the 3-gallon bucket at "Pioneer Family Cache." I'm looking at my dishwasher detergent bucket right now and trying to remember how big the C2C logbook is. It might work. We're in Boise for two nights and we have the iBook, so if we can't find one Saturday, there's always Sunday or Monday. Of course, i could just hide a new cache, but i hate doing that over 50 miles from my home. I'm going to bring a 50cal box. As a last resort, i'll upgrade someone's container. Obviously, i'll ask permission first. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed
  18. And, after a couple of margaritas, i think it's okay to revert to calling people by their screen names instead of their real names. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed

    Boise!

That reminds me: Can any Boise-area cacher tell me of one or two geocaches in their area that are 50-cal ammo boxes or larger? The C2C Logbook doesn't fit in 30-cal cases; it doesn't fit in many tupperware containers either. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed
  21. quote:Originally posted by The Tungsten Jihad!: Now I'm wondering if this means the area has reached saturation? Maybe it's time to change the old signature item. Hmmm. When Tungsten goes Hmmm, it's time to be worried. I dare not venture a guess where this musing is headed. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed
  22. Well Fractal, I think Gresham is in the cards tonight. I did indeed head up to Washington today to bag #297-#299. Now all we need to do is convince LaurenCat that she's driving. And to anyone with Burnt Bridge II on their list, parking where i did really makes a guy in a grey ford extrusion quite vocal, so beware! all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed

  24. quote:Originally posted by fractal: I also tried to give a couple to Oregone to place over on the east side, but I'm not sure if the decals made it back to him by the end of the night I did somehow end up with three decals toward the end of that night. Two of them ended up at Bodoni's "Virginia," and i'll drop the last one off on the eastside today if i have time. And i'll try to make it on Wednesday to Top Score. Maybe--if i can somehow get four caches between now and then--we can do IDS IV Revisited afterwards to get my 300th. all rights reserved, all wrongs reversed
