  1. Trying to check the website, but it appears to be down. Aargh! So frustrating....I just know other people are going to beat me to the info! Any clue when the website will be back up? 2. Fractal, What's the status of those golden tickets? We (and I'm sure others) are waiting with bated breath!....donkey breath, in our case. Angela of TeamDonkey25 We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence [and happiness] then is not an act, but a habit. ~~Aristotle
  3. Elana, What a great idea! I think the Lounge is a great cache, but then, ALL of your caches are great. I won't be there on the 7th, because I'm the maid of honor in my sister's wedding. But, I'll mark down the 14th for GeoBreakfast. Hope to see you there! Angela of TeamDonkey25 We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence [and happiness] then is not an act, but a habit. ~~Aristotle
  4. I just have to say, I am totally in awe of you guys!! I love the AYTO series concept, and I'm hoping that our team can follow in your footsteps. I am happy to admire The One, and not become The One. Our team is progressing very nicely, and I really cannot WAIT to meet all of you great cachers in person. I'm lurking in the boards waiting for a peep about those golden tickets... Angela We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence [and happiness] then is not an act, but a habit. ~~Aristotle
  5. As far as I know, it's just called Garmin eTrex. It IS the yellow model. And no, it did not come with a cable ...I think they are $30 on the Garmin website. Probably cheaper on eBay. I will read the manual again about inputting a waypoint and then editing it. Perhaps that would work, though it seems rather time consuming! Angela We are what we repeatedly do. 6. We have a Garmin eTrex GPS. As far as I can tell from reading the manual four times, there is no way to input GPS coords. We've been finding caches by using the GPS coords on the pointer screen. I've been wondering if there is anyway to download onto a Garmin eTrex, so that we can use the tracking feature. If not, is there any way to download waypoints onto a PalmOS system? I have a Handspring Edge, but having trouble finding a program that is compatible with .loc files. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Angela We are what we repeatedly do. 8. Just as long as hiding one at 2925 isn't the plan....I'm not sure our GeoFeet are up to that task just yet. If 2925 is this hard now, I wonder what it will be like once the rain starts! Angela We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence [and happiness] then is not an act, but a habit. ~~Aristotle
  9. Does anyone have any stories or links to share about caches that have totally kicked your butt, trying to find them? Or caches that need superhuman abilities to find? Locally, I know about this cache: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GCA9C7 I would love to read about similar experiences. Come on, you know you want to vent anyway! 10. Bazzle, we'll just have to lurk in the forums every day now, watching for notices. Knowing the dynamic duo, they'll find a creative way of letting us know the tickets are out there. But if you try going to the same cache as me, we'll have to have a battle Star Wars style with our geo-sticks over the ticket!! We are what we repeatedly do. 11. Since I missed Broken Arrow, I (we) REALLY want to come to the Halloween Gala. When will you start hiding the tickets? Are you going to post the info here, or on Geocaching? This will be our first event, and I'm really looking forward to getting to know other local cachers!! Angela We are what we repeatedly do. 12. Okay, I am a dork. I just found the Portland Geocaching website....this has all the info I'll ever need! Just ignore my first questions....thanks anyway! We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence [and happiness] then is not an act, but a habit. ~~Aristotle
  13. Summer is almost over, and I'd really love to meet some of my fellow cachers....are there any event caches in the works? I did a search, and I'm coming up empty. Looks like I just missed a great one though....just my luck! We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence [and happiness] then is not an act, but a habit. ~~Aristotle
