I have been stopped by a few park rangers looking for caches in an area that is known for illegal offroading (I drive a jeep) and they will ask the usual questions and then they see the gpsr and know why I am there. Then they will say I think you are in the wrong spot, have fun searching and they leave. The rangers are a little more familiar with the sport and most probably take part.

well with a little nudge in the right direction I figured the puzzle out and boy does it feel good, now I just have to go find it . Still haven't heard from the co but it doesn't really matter now. happy caching

One more thing to add is I know there is a bunch more caches in this area that I plan to find, I was just interested in doing this one because it is supposed to be vary difficult to get to. It says in the cache page it may be undo-able in the summer time, but I wanna try. I have vary good knowledge of this area from helping with enduro races so I think I can do it but want to see for myself. happy caching

I don't think this guy has left the game, he seems like a vary active person is this area. I will wait and see what happens and maybe send him another email in a few days. And if he doesn't want to give me a hint thats fine but I asked him to tell me if that was the case. well ill just see what happens. happy caching

How long after you email a co should it take for them to contact you. I don't want to bother the guy but am having a hard time figuring out his puzzle. I don't have a lot of caches done yet and the one I am looking at is considered vary hard, and think maybe that is why he is not responding. I emailed him over a week ago and he hasn't replied yet. Just wondering what people think I should do.

thanks for all the replies, I actually signed up for premium membership just have to wait for the pay pal payment to go through. Now all I have to do is get a palm and figure out how to load this stuff in and start hunting.

hi everyone I am pretty new to geocaching and this site and was reading around and see a lot of people saving cache data on a palm pilot and this makes a lot of sense to me. To this point I have been writing all the info in a little note book and have found this to be a pain. I was just wondering what brand and kind of pda lends itself to geocaching the best. thanks in advance.
