1. I have a potential fix for this. I set up a cartridge compile service on one of my Azure web sites. I can then connect to it from where Kit currently is and do the compile remotely. Not quite the most optimal solution, but it does work from my test environment and using a few of the cartridges I created using Kit.

Please let me know if there are any problems with this method.

That seems to work. I was able to generate a gwc file that would play in the emulator. Thanks!!!!!

  2. Well, that's too bad. The last update I made attempted to use a new compiler to create GWC cartridges since there were problems with the one on the Wherigo site.

I'll look into it in a little while. I have to reach a point in this other project where I can pause and shift back to Kit.

I did work fine publishing to the Wherigo site though.

  3. Great builder! I've been working on a cartridge for a while now and have not had any problems compiling a GWC file until today. I now get this:

    Error

An internal error occurred when using the new cartridge compiler to compile the cartridge. 4. Vendor : The Cache Shack.

    Coin : Geo Trek Coin

    2 orders :

    08/30/2010 (Can't open a dispute since it's been more than 45 days)

09/21/2010 (Will probably open a dispute soon)

Shipment due : A long time ago.

First order was never sent out until I contacted them a month later.

    They replied after 3 e-mails.

They decided to ship both orders together since I contacted them a few days after I made the second order.

I was refunded the shipping fees on my first order.

The thing is I haven't received the combined shipment yet.

I've sent another 3 e-mails within the last 2 weeks and I've never had any answer from them.

Anyone had any problems with The Cache Shack before ?

I also ordered a Geo Trek Coin from The Cache Shack on 9/31/10. Haven't received the coin. Have left message on their voice mail and alos sent an email. I received no response to either so I opened a dispute.
