I was sure hoping that Garmin would make something available to all of us 400t users. Seems like a real big problem that needs to be addressed without having to purchase 2008 Topo map.

Has anyone (including Garmin) worked out a method to view and edit the 400t base topo map on a PC with Mapsource? What are the thoughts of all the other 400t users is this possible, probable or total impossible? Otherwise how are we to create routes specific to the topo when the areas don't show up in Mapsource other than as blank areas with either the waypoint manager or CN loaded?

So, I don't have any of this lying around. Where would I likely find it? --Marky You can also get silicone grease at a local swimming pool supply store.

Yes, my first 400t had the same problem with the right soft key shutting down the unit and I took the unit back to REI (Tempe) for replacement on Feb. 3rd. I am now on my second unit with only the "normal" issues as seen in the tacked up "issues" list. Cosmo
