  1. Richard, that is in fact my daughter. The year is most likely 2004 or 5. My family and I moved to Maryland in 2007. Thanks! We've been going a little crazy (okay, crazier than normal) trying to figure it out. Tell her "Hi!" from Richard and Jeeps the Squirrel!
  2. Hi, Ohio cachers! I was lookin' through some old pictures and remembering all the fun I've had when I found this one. My little squirrel brain just can't remember who this girl is. Does anyone out there know her? I think the picture was taken at a Christmas party, maybe in 2005 or 2008 or thereabouts, but I'm not sure. I asked Richard, but he just said "Like my old pappy used to say: I've got a good memory, it's just short."
  3. Hi, guys! Just so's you know... Neither Mr. Radley or that Pharoh guy were the first geocachers! Us squirrels were caching long before there were any two-legged cachers around! We'd hide treasures in the woods, sometimes in hollow trees, but we're allowed to bury our caches, and we can even have food in our caches onaccountabecause that's a squirrel's most favoritest thing to find in a cache! And then we'd have lots of fun all winter hunting the caches that we hid!
  4. You can also ask Richard to do it. ... Just don't let the audience snicker when he starts doing his "puppet show." ... Richard takes his art very seriously. Wow! I didn't know that Richard does puppet shows! How come I've never seen one? It would be lots of fun!
  5. Hi, geocamper! I make buttons, too! I make a different one every year or so! This is what my newest button looks like:
  6. Hi, there! Welcome to Geocaching! You and the Girlscouts are gonna have lots of fun! It may help if you read "Geocaching with Jeeps." (That's me!) Like somebody else said, you might want to try to talk to a geocacher where you live! You could even e-mail the owner of the cache you want to find and see if he'd come out and help! There's lots of nice folks out there! Have fun! Jeeps the Squirrel
  7. A party? I wouldn't miss a party! Especially one that Richard says will have a lot of nuts! Meeting new people and geocaching are two of my most favoritest things in the world! I'll be there, even if I have to drive myself!
  8. Hi there! I'm gonna try something now!
  9. Hi there! Geocaching is really neat and you're gonna have lots of fun! I wanted to help out new cachers so I wrote down some stuff that you may want to read! I call it "Geocaching with Jeeps" (that's me) and you can get to it by clicking here! I hope it helps! Have fun! Jeeps the Squirrel
  10. Hi, there! My friend Flat Stanley and I took a tour of the planets earlier this year (GCHM7E) in my space ship, and I can tell you that my GPSr didn't work very well while we were off the Earth.
  11. Hi, Grannies! I bet you can't wait to get out and find the hidden treasure! It's really neat-o! You might want to read my webpage, Geocaching with Jeeps, to help you with your first search! Have fun!
  12. Hi there, Holly the Monkey! You're gonna have lots of fun geocaching! I know I do! You might want to read my webpage, Geocaching with Jeeps, for some hints about looking for your first cache! Just remember to keep looking, and have fun! Jeeps the Squirrel
  13. Hi there! You've got some really neat stuff to put in caches! Most of the stuff that I trade for are kids' stuff! It's lots of fun! You might want to take a look at my homepage by clicking your mouse thingy here! It tells you some things about geocaching for the first time! Have fun! Jeeps the Squirrel
  14. Hi, grethles! You could try reading this, Geocaching with Jeeps, it might help! But keep trying! And remember to have fun! Jeeps the Squirrel
  15. Hi there! You might want to check my webpage, here, for some hints on finding your first cache! Good luck, Have fun, Jeeps the Squirrel
  16. I think to make it up to him you should get him his own GPSr and take him out geocaching with you! Besides, squirrels make great geocaching partners! They can look in places big people can't get into and aren't bothered by things like prickers and poison ivy! And squirrels have been finding hidden treasures (acorns) for a long time, so they have plenty of practice! Jeeps the Squirrel
  17. Hi there! I think "the frog" means Signal, Geocaching.com's mascot! Signal is a funny looking little frog with an antenna on his head! I think a squirrel would have been better, onaccountabecause squirrels hide treasures and then search for them, but I may be biased! Have fun! Jeeps the Squirrel
  18. Hi, guys! I've got two signature items! One is an acorn with a tag on it, the tag has a picture on one side and my name on the other! The other item is a button with my picture on it! You can get the plastic parts for the button at a craft supply store, usually in the "kid's crafts" section! They aren't really this big! The button is only 2 1/4 inches across and the acorn is a little under 1 1/2 inches long. Have fun! Jeeps the Squirrel
  19. Hi! I really like it when others cachers trade for my signature item! It means that they like it and want one! So go ahead and take it! If the cache owner wants one, he'll have to work for it like everyone else! Have fun! Jeeps the Squirrel
  20. See what I mean about hitting the right buttons? I somehow posted under Richard's name instead of mine! Oops! But I checked and the link works! Have fun! Jeeps the Squirrel
  21. Hi, guys! Hey, Criminal! You may want to check out some of my logs! I usually go geocaching with my friend RichardMoore, but sometimes on my own! But I'm not a horse, I'm a squirrel! Have fun! Jeeps the Squirrel
  22. Hi, guys! I have a signature item, too! Onaccountabecause I'm a squirrel my signature item is an acorn! But it's not a real one, it's a wooden one that I got from a craft store! I fastened a tag to it with my name and picture on it! The acorn is about 1 1/4 inches high and the tag is about 1 inch by 1 1/2 inches. It's really neat! Sorry I don't have a picture for you. You'll just have to come to Ohio and find one! Jeeps the Squirrel
