  1. Great! Once you register, we'll link your TB to the Race site. Good luck in the race!
  2. Yes, you can! Please Register here: http://lvgtbrace.wordpress.com/registration/
  3. TB Race starts tomorrow! It's not too late to register (you have until March 31). You can register new TBs or TBs that are already out there. Points don't count until tomorrow. Anyone around the world can participate and you can start your TB in any cache! http://lvgtbrace.wordpress.com/racers/
  4. Slow here in the US. It is taking minutes to load each page...and trying to use the map...yeah, right. Someone at Groundspeak needs to try an iisreset...perhaps that will work. I am trying to plan a caching outing for my family today and it is going to take me all day to plan at this rate. Normally this would be quick to find an are via the map, create a pocket query and plan a quick route. Now, our plans to go caching are ruined (unless this is fixed soon).
  5. Thank you Magellan for all of the donations you provided for our CITO event on Sunday! The event went amazingly well! We collected about 68 bags of garbage along with some miscellaneous items like siding, carpets, home plate, a boar archery target, etc. Everyone had a great time and we really appreciate that everyone took a few hours of their day to help us clean up the area. Thank you so much for making our event even better
  6. Not sure how they were selected. We were contacted about it and had to respond to Magellan. I really think it's awesome that they are doing this. I had asked Garmin about a donation, and they sent me opencaching hats and lanyards. Opencaching is Geocaching's competitor, so why they would ever send that for a geocaching event I will never understand. Magellan seems to have it together and they are willing to support those of us that are trying to make a difference in our communities!
  7. We are lucky to get the Magellan Super Sponsorship package for our CITO event in the Lehigh Valley! It is so great that Magellan supports Geocaching and CITO and we are so thankful for their donation! We are looking forward to our event and hope that a lot of people come out to help clean up the area!!
  8. I love that idea! Or maybe a 12-cache series, with a bonus mystery cache. Have the digits for the location of the mystery distributed in the other 12 caches. Maybe call the mystery cache "Serenity." If you look up the user Skydiver, you will find his archived 12 Step Program cache. It took us many months to do and we ended up putting a new transmission in our car halfway through it. Then destroying the oil pan out on the rental we were using while the car was in the shop. Jen We'll have to look up those caches. We've had issues with our car at times during caching...like when it wouldn't start when we stopped to do a cache on the way to an event and one of our geofriends had to come jump start our car. My hubby recently got a flat tire after DNFing a new cache. It all makes for a good story at least!
  9. I love that idea! Or maybe a 12-cache series, with a bonus mystery cache. Have the digits for the location of the mystery distributed in the other 12 caches. Maybe call the mystery cache "Serenity." A 12 cache series with a bonus cache could work too. I like Serenity as the bonus!
  10. That would be one insane multi! But I really love the idea and we may have to do that!! Thanks!
  11. Thanks! We were going to put links to geocaching.com and stuff, but then decided to put links to caches since there is a link to GC.com on the home page.
  12. We created a website called Geocachers Anonymous. It's just for fun! Enjoy!
  13. Thanks so much everyone!! A bit late only because we don't check the forum often. The DD Challenge was one of our favorites!! You did a great job!
