  1. Our magnetic TB was on the back of our yellow camper for the whole week that we were in Cornwall, and hasn't been logged once And we were definately going slow enough for anyone to get the tracking number
  2. Our rusty but trusty Mabel has taken us on many caching trips - and she has excellent ground clearance! Nothing better than after a cold wet caching walk, to get back to the camper and put the kettle on! Some may think we're biased (can't think why ) but it's really the only way to cache !!!!
  3. I've done a search, but can't find any threads on this. I would like to compare 2 figures - the number of caches we have found (obviously a very easy figure to get) with the total number of finds there have been on our caches. I think it makes a nice 'balance' in a caching sense if the 2 figures are even[ish], but short of opening each of our cache pages and then adding all the 'found it' numbers together, I don't know where / if it is possible to see this somewhere! Thanks in advance!
  4. is there a way to see where the nearest garmin coins are to your home address? And does anyone know if there are any still available in stores in Somerset?
  5. Ooops again! Yes - I did know that, but I'd forgotten that when after reading the posts - I just didn't want people thinking we were trying to log something we hadn't seen - my original question could be read in two ways, and some of the other posters thought that we wanted to log items that had gone through our cache but we hadn't seen them. To go back to my original point, from the replies, we're OK to visit our cache to either discover, or collect any trackables if we can help them on their mission - so all sorted!! Thanks all for the fast answers!
  6. Hi - thanks for all your replies. Hazel was correct in her first reading of my post - we haven't seen it, and therefore will not log this coin. I was asking the question in advance of a similar situation happening again, we didn't want to 'discover' a coin in our cache and then find out it's not the done thing!! Having re-read my question, I can see how I've confused everyone - but just to clarify, we won't be logging anything about any trackables that we haven't physically seen or moved! Thanks again
  7. We have just placed our first cache, and put a couple of trackables in it to start it off. On the first or second day, someone put in a gorgeous coin. I really wanted to go and see it, but unfortunately, it got moved on before I had chance to go down. My question is - is it OK to log a 'discovered' note for a coin that is dropped into a cache that we placed? I have run various seaches through the forum, but not found an answer to this question! Thanks in advance for some help!
  8. All sorted now ! Thankyou for the speedy reply. Will know what to do when we find our next trackable now!
  9. We recently found our first Geo-coin in a cache in Gibraltar, which said it's goal was to visit lots of countries. So we have brought it home to England. However, it wasn't on the inventory for the cache we found it in. I typed the tracking number into the Geocoin page, and it showed that the coin was in the posession of the previous person. A little look at the FAQ indicated that I should select ' grab coin from xxxx' - so I did. But there was no option to say where I had grabbed the coin from, so now it's page has the wrong mileage on it. What should I do now? Thanks in advance for any help!
