Ich vermute, weil geocaching.com die Map von Google benutzt (und evtl. andere Dienste), besonders die Satellitenansicht. (Benutze ebenfalls Linux Mint Mate, Firefox und NoScript-Addon, bin aber stets bei Google angemeldet, also lasse ich das auch zu.)

Yup, hat sie jetzt auch gemacht und der Support hat recht flott geantwortet. Sie musste dann noch alle Caches auflisten, die sie die letzten Tage gefunden hatte und jetzt hat sie das letzte Souvenir auch bekommen. Danke an euch für eure Antworten und Hilfe! ... case closed ...

Hooray, it worked! The support immediately replied. My wife had to list all caches she found within the past days and now they approved it! Thanks a lot to you guys here for your help.

I know. She logged all her finds on the website with her laptop (that's the way she always logs her finds). So it's not an app issue. She will send an e-mail to the support, hopefully she'll be as lucky as Dr.MORO.

Apparently GC HQ decided to close the case way earlier than the official deadline. >:( My wife logged a part of her finds yesterday and the rest of it this morning and now should have way more than 35 finds to open the vault. Oddly it stopped at 32 finds. According to the FAQ the deadline for logging is 12:00 o'clock UTC and she logged before that deadline. I already logged all my finds yesterday and could close the case but not my wife. I did it with the official GC app yesterday but today (this morning) MATM already disappeared within the app so she couldn't finish it with the app nor the website. Today is her birthday, too, so you can imagine that she's quite pissed ... Hallo zusammen! Heute loggte meine Frau ihre restlichen Funde und eigentlich hätte sie nun weit über 35 der benötigten Caches, um den Tresor zu öffnen (und den Fall abzuschließen). Jedoch blieben die Funde bei 32 stehen. Sie hat aber noch vor der Deadline geloggt, welche laut FAQ heute (14.08.) bei 12 Uhr UTC, also 14 Uhr MESZ, liegt. Selbst jetzt, während ich diese Zeilen schreibe, ist die Deadline noch nicht vorbei (es ist jetzt 13:15 Uhr). Wir cachen immer zusammen, aber ich hatte meine Funde gestern schon geloggt und konnte Mystery at the museum auch abschließen. Kann es sein, dass das GC-HQ sich nicht selber an die angegebene Deadline gehalten hat und die Möglichkeit zum Loggen schon eher gesperrt hat? Auch in der offiziellen GC-App ist Mystery at the museum anscheinend schon verschwunden, ich konnte aber gestern noch den Tresor per App öffnen. Jetzt ist meine Frau (die heute auch noch Geburtstag hat) natürlich etwas betrübt, dass sie wegen lausigen drei Funden (32/35) Mystery at the museum nicht abschließen kann. LG, Piepsi
