I have done all I can find and can't get my avatar on this server. It shows in my profile as being uploaded but the instruction claim tabs and buttons and places I can't find. Logged in and out etc...... Help please.....

I am new at this. I have a Garmin 60CSx and the Garmin maps and topo maps. I have N Route installed on my Thinkpad 43 laptop. I use the GPS stand alone. I use it connected to the laptop for the big screen. I am not trying to move saved tracks from the Garmin unit to the laptop N route program so I can see the saved track in a larger format and also upload that to the net to some message boards that show each others tracks on maps, or Google Earth, etc.... I have M$ Streets & Maps 2007 also. I can save the track as an file on the laptop but the N route does not see it nor does the Nroute see the file in the Garmin unit. (wrong extension?) I could save the route when using the laptop ... I think.. have not tried... but I can't take the laptop on the motorcycle so I need to be able to move the track to the laptop or to Google Earth or to Streets and maps ( prolly not going to happen) I am old and need little words and very careful instructions. The operating manual for the Garmin talks about it but it seems to assume I know stuff already and I don't. What is says to do, click tab xxx, there is no tab xxx. Can someone help me with this?

Not as cold here but some very small caches so a 'stubby' pencil is usually there. I carry my own pencil and stuff and such. Along the same lines: I have heard that the little give-a-way 'Swiss Army Knife' type things I have is a 'no no' to leave as a gift? In BSA caches? Any truth to that?

First post for for me. Hello all. I have the 60CSx, my first unit and I went to my first cache 1-17-08. Heavy tree cover even in winter and it worked great. I will also be using it a speedometer on my chopper along with car navigation for the wife doing yard sales.. LOL Well worth the $$ to get the 2 GIG card for it IMO.
