A huge congrats to John & Hazel who found their first cache today since Hazel badly broke her leg on Feb 4th whilst out caching. We are glad they have not been put off by the whole experience and we welcome them back into the folds of Geocaching, well done you two! We look forward to seeing you catch up on all the new hides.......

Well done from us too. BUT did you get wet ????!!!!!! The true caching experience Look forward to seeing you again in Shropshire -
Sorry to hear that you have now joined us and many others, who have had their cars broken into whilst caching. It seems this 'club' has a growing membership which is unfortunate, as we would like to keep membership down to a minimum (ideally zero). I know the frustration and inconvenience it brings and you have our sympathy. All we can do is to try not to subscribe again and not to donate too much to the a-holes who are always on the prowl.

We are in The same School of thought as Pharisee. If we are able phisically to search the cache and not find it we will log so. But there are circumstances where "Muggles" prevent you from searching in the first place. We have had 2 No finds on a cache of ours today so we will now make it a priority to go and check it out, thanks to the cachers that have actually said "we couldn't find it" Maybe it is a seasonal thing where nettle growth etc are hampering a find or it may have gone. But either way we are always pleased for feedback and we personally are grateful to those who log DNF's.

Phillimore Clan Slam 400 .. At Their Cache Event
The Ollies replied to JollyJax's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
A Massive well done from us too! Sorry we didn't make the Phillimore Campsite!! The Baked beans sounded luuurrrvly......... If there is space we will book for next years -
We would love to team up with you YorkiePudding and hit the Punters caches together! We are planning on doing these on Saturday and hopefully hitting our 600th with the final one. Let us know when you are arriving and we could all head off together if you like
-
Oh Bum. We cant make 20th August . Another good meet in the making though, by the sounds of it. Normally this would be ideal for us with the kids on hols, but we just cant make that weekend
-
I'm Sure Ollie Dad would be more than happy to shove up, to allow Yorkie Pudding in our tent, but as we are taking our small tent we are already packed in like sardines! Any way Yorkiepudding I can guarentee you would soon put your tent up in double quick time once you hear his snoring Joking aside we are quite happy to assist you with your tent should you need it. Onto the nearby cache topic, we realised this campsite is further away than we would have liked , but everywhere nearer was fully booked! We did consider the Offer from the Phillimores of thier back garden but somehow we thought they might not appreciate us knocking thier door at 2 am to use thier toilet!!!!!!!! Still praying the weather forcast will be good...........
-
We have Camp Site booked, and we hope to get 600 while in Oxford! Lets hope the weather holds out! See you on Sunday, and Yorkiepudding, hope to see you beforehand!

Got my collar felt by the Rozzers on the Isle of Wight. They Zapped me with their 'Star Wars' lazer gun from 200yrds as I came over the brow of a hill, on an empty country road, as we were going to put a TB in a cache Maybe I should have asked to see the calibration date in the gun or suggested that the batteries were faulty. . Did n't get the offer to join any fast ladies, only an invite to the Policemans Ball at £60 a ticket with 3 points thrown in.

We've missed the last two Events there so hopefully it will be third time lucky for us (if I can get the night off work).
