  1. But this is a one-click per one-cache action, correct? If you were to load 2000 caches for a long trip, wouldn't that mean 2000 clicks?
  2. Generate your GPX file on your PC. Copy that GPX file to [drive]:\Garmin\GPX Disconnect the unit from your computer. Turn it on. Your caches will be there.
  3. You should've put a travel bug inside, so we can see who else ends up with it! I have the same amounts on mine. M Chipset also.
  4. Heading back to REI first thing tomorrow then! Thanks for the confirmation.
  5. Yep. Software version 2.4.0 GPS Software version 2.6.0
  6. I picked up my 400t last night, took it out today. Duracell alkalines lasted about 3 hours before they died, 2700 NiMH's lasted about 1.5 hours before they died. Ugh. I went through 4 sets of batteries for a caching day. This was with no backlight, WAAS on, and no turn-by-turn.
  7. Exporting to Cachemate works only for Palms. It isn't for PPC's. For PPC's, you need to copy the generated GPX file to the unit itself.
  8. I am using a PPC. I generate my GPX file through GSAK, and copy that file to my PPC. I open Cachemate, and tell it to import the data. When it completes, I only have a maximum of 7 logs per cache. Anyone know why? When I open the same GPX file in GPX Sonar, I can see all the logs. But opening the same cache in Cachemate, I can only see up to 7. I am talking about cache logs, not the number of caches. Thanks for any help.
  9. Thanks. I just did my part and asked that it be reclassified. Guess we will find out tomorrow if our efforts paid off.
  10. Where is the site lookup tool? And where is the option to request a reclassification?
  11. Websense is so annoying. No better than the spammers out there. geochecker has been blocked for months here, and today gc was added. So I am in the same boat as the rest of you. gc needs to add an 'https' option to their site, that usually allows websense bypassing.
  12. This is crazy then. lol. I guess for some reason it is failing just for me. Same error on home and work computers. When I click on the link, it takes me to this URL: http://www.geocaching.com/my/userroutes.aspx And at that point, I get the "Server Error in '/' Application." error. Guess I need to ping the PTB and see what is going on with my account.
  13. The problem is, I can't even make it to the part where I can upload a file. This error is occurring as soon as I click on the "Find Caches Along a Route" link. Maybe I am the only one having this problem. I see it on both Firefox and IE.
  14. The last 2 days, it seems the "Find Caches Along a Route" option is broken: Server Error in '/' Application. Index and length must refer to a location within the string. 15. I've owned both, and prefer the 60 series based on the form-factor alone. To me, the buttons are easier to reach, and the unit fits my hand better.

  17. I upgraded to the Home Premium version of Vista, and am using the 7.xx series of GSAK. I've experienced no problems at all. But I am running as Adminstrator all the time.
  18. I would love to get one of the black nickel ones.
  19. Found it! It was in the office, and they put it under the wrong name. I had to go in the back myself and search for it. Really cool coin!!! Thanks!
  20. Hmmm. Still waiting to get mine in the mail...
  21. This was an amazing event last year. You can bet I will be there again this year!!
