  1. My wife and i cache as a team and there has been a few times when i went hiking with friends to get some caches and while i was gone my wife went caching with the kids or with friends. I see no problem with it. Sure we get hassled by all the local cachers every now and then but they are all our friends and its all in good fun. So its very much Allowed!
  2. a friend of mine has the plate "GOCACHN" which is also his caching name.
  3. I have played a lot of different games at various events such as ammo can bowling and a film canister toss just to name a few. But what games have you all played that you liked? Im putting on another event soon and thought i would ask the forums for some possible new ideas.
  4. They may well have less than 10 finds, BUT, they may have found the one you can't... Sometimes you can get a lucky break, sometimes a cache can be a 'right little b*gger!'... I'd leave it to the cache owner to check they signed the log, and if not, break the news to them. i would email them asking for a hint as to where it is, tell them you can find the letter box but not the cache. See what they say.
  5. We did 104, and like mentioned already it makes for a looooooooooooooooooong day! but it was fun
  6. Teaching other leaders about caching, examples of types of activities they can do with their own troops would be i think really helpful.
  7. i dont know of a query to do that but you click on geocaches under "Your logs (Last 30 Days)" on your profile then click "didnt find it" and it will give you a list of all your DNFs. other than that i believe thats the best you will get.
  8. Beautiful coin, dont know if it was mentioned but i like the name "cachehire cat" for the coin.
  9. is there still room to get in on this list? if so count me in.

  19. A raccoon could choke on your lock-n-lock if it chews it up and eats some of it. A bear could be disadvantaged in a fight and die because it stepped on your ammo box and got it caught on its foot. A wolf dies from intestinal blockage because somebody handled a micro without washing their hands after eating a liver sandwich. Dang how can the bear, racoon, and the wolf all find those caches by mear luck and i cant find them trying?!!! I do agree with you though.
