The cache reviewers are volunteers trying to juggle both their paying jobs while spending their free time making this game we love possible. Ive heard of cache submissions taking 2 weeks or longer to approve but it will get done. If theres a problem with the listing, the reviewer will let you know, but for now, just be patient.

I have found 700+ caches to date without WAAS. While I don't deny that it does help with GPS accuracy, I havent needed it so far so I can't justify the addtional battery drain.

The GPS in the photo is to prove that you were actually there. without the rule, armchair seekers will log waymarks without ever leaving the house.

The WAAS satellties are low on the horizon from here so unless I was standing in a wide open field, I wouldnt pick them up anyways.

I only filter out caches that I have found.

The explorist 500 works fine, and Id probably give it a 3 if I didnt have a Garmin 60CS to compare it with. I feel that the 60CS is a superior unit by FAR so I have to give the explorist 500 a 1.5.

What do you do with them when you take them. Put them in another cache or place them somewhere your self as a new cache? This was a regular cache I found it in, not a seeder cache. Then I would treat it like any other trade item. Don't feel obligated to hide it anywhere if you don't want.

That sounds alot like a breeder cache. Breeder caches are caches that people put out to help populate a relatively cache free area. Some breeder caches are filled with micros hat are ready to hide others simply ask that you place a cache in order to log a find.

Two weeks is the maximum customary holding time for TB's. Most bug owners won't mind you holding their bug longer if they know the bugs will get alot closer to their goal. The best advice I can give is to send the bug owners an email and ask them.

Virtuals will be allowed to stay here for the foreseeable future. Jeremy has not yet decided whether to move them or not.

People have varying opinions on them. Personally, I don't have problem with them but I make it a policy not to leave anything in a cache that I wouldn't give to a 7 year old. But thats just me.
