I just ordered one for my HCx and I'll let you know whether mine fits properly or not. I have had one on my Creative Zen Vision:M media player for about 18 months now and have been very happy with it. It's a great product and well worth it if you have a device you want to keep from getting all scratched up. Thanks for the tip on the discount! Put mine on a few days ago and it has cured nicely. Fits like a glove.

Actually had the same problem today with my HCx. Out in the "winter weather" in Charlotte. Screen was very pale gray at start-up. I did exactly as StarBrand mentioned, powered off and on and it was fine. Hasn't happened since. We've actually had colder days than today so i don't think it is the weather either.

I ordered one for my Vista HCX last weekend at full price. I emailed customer service and they are going to refund the 50% difference. Now if the package will just arrive.....

I'm a newbie myself. I really like the combo of an Ipod and GSAK for going paperless. GSAK has a macro that makes exporting to Ipod notes a breeze
