  1. my 2 cents: I have always wondered why multi-caches award just the final smilie when there are many intermediate finds required to find THE cache. So, I reasoned that if that is okay, then so is it okay to have each stop of an A.L. count as a smilie. All evens out in the end.
  2. yahooooooooooooooo I'm back in business! Thanks to the person who posted that they are using IE7! I was still running IE6. Also, I now have to hold "CTRL" while clicking on "SEND to GPS". Took be about 20 clicks and rolling pages to figure it out. But THANK YOU! person who noted using IE7!
  3. Hi, I'm having the same experience and thought "o, dial up!" but went to a wireless location and am having no greater success.....
  4. A little poll ====== for those having the "garmin communicator plug-in" problem -- what is your internet access? I am using dial up. Any others?
  5. Right you are. And then again, maybe you haven't experienced it - - - - yet. Thanks for your suggestions. They have proved ineffective. Also tried using Firefox instead of IE, dumping the new plug in and redoing that procedure. Walking to the basement and back, and using another usb cable from pc to garmin. Nope, nope, and nope. NEXT?
  6. There is some solace in finding that I'm not alone in having to manually enter new waypoints at an agonizingly slow pace compared to clicking on "SEND TO GPS". I began having the trouble when [1] I downloaded the NEW 2/4/09 communicator plug in from Garmin site and [2] when I realized that another mfgr has been added to the "SEND TO GPS" screen in addition to Garmin. I'm not happy. Just looking for a solution.....thanks for any help! sleepawkeen York PA GarminCSX60
  7. Many thanks for your reply. I might just have to return to the cache and take a magnifying lens. I appreciate your kindness. sleepawkeen
