  1. Thank You, wouldn't it be a lot easier to have the United States listed in the countries?
  2. First, create an all US States pocket query. You do this by selecting all the US states in the states/provinces box, holding down the control key as you highlight each state. You might omit Alaska Hawaii. You might just copy this query of mine http://www.geocaching.com/pocket/gcquery.aspx?guid=895abdf8-09c8-46c9-89ff-6b8687e0cd4b then select the cache type and the D/T combo - I assume you mean D 1 Terrain 4.5 Now preview the query. I see 8 of these in the US states
  3. I guess I am not explaining my question clearly. Let me give you an example. I am working on a challenge that says you need to fill your grid with Multi caches. I need a 1.0 / 4/5 Multicache and I will travel far and wide to get one. I see from project-gc.com there are 11 in the U.S. Where are they? You can click None Selected for From Origin that will go further than 500 mile limit and there are only 11 1.0/4.5 Multi Caches in the U.S. I also know you can individually select all 50 states but is that ever a pain in the (you know what).
  4. In the From Origin Box you just select None Required
  5. Does anyone know how to Pocket Query the whole US? The default has every country in the world except the U.S. You can highlight all 50 states and get the results but why isn't the United States listed. Doesn't make sense. Or am I missing it somewhere. I realize there is a 1000 cache limit but if you have specific caches you are looking for........ Any info would be appreciated. Clubmud!
  6. LuckyT, EskoClimber and myself found a 5/5 in the Black Hills that was 2,693 days old. Placed 5/13/2002 - Found 9/26/2009. I believe it is the oldest (Placed date to Found date) 5/5 found to date. Please note the other finder signed the log before it was placed, she was with the cache owner. "Buzzard Drop Cache" GC57F9
  7. Weekends and now midweek. Sure hope they can get the site to be more responsive. Very annoying, I can go all over the net then go to gc.com and see: Waiting for Geocaching.com...

    Fizzy coins

Hey Kealia, any chance of doing a reorder. There are 32 states that have Fizzy's now. I don't know how many states there were when you did the initial buy! Clubmud1 owner of South Dakota's Well Rounded Cacher GC1X61M. I am interested and I am sure the other new states would be also. What's the minimum order?
  10. Well, here's my story. Got an Oregon 400t from Best Buy using a 40% off coupon from a fellow cacher. First one, lasted 3 days, then the screen slowly faded away. Called Garmin, 3 hours on the phone, they took over my computer, (cause I'm a computer dummy) tried to set it back to an earlier version. They couldn't fix it! Sent this one back, got another one, via UPS. Same thing happened while not doing the same thing. Just turned it on! Same screen fade happened. Garmin rep took over my computer, tried to reinstall an earlier version. Couldn't fix it. Sent the second unit back. Got the third unit. Seems to be working fine, except when I turned it on today, I saw the same familiar screen fade. Replaced batteries (as I had done in the past units) and seems to work fine. I think this unit needs highly charged batteries! Wish me luck. I'm only posting this for others to know my story!
  11. Thank you so much for this macro, makes caching a lot easier for me. Really appreciate your efforts. clubmud
  12. Okay, here's my story. I only have 9 finds so bear with me. I have a new Garmin 60CSx, a Palm M515 and I have GSAK and Cachemate. I have everything loaded and going fine. I don't know how to post my finds. Do I use my Palm or my GPS at the site? Then when I get home do I post manually to Geocaching.com or upload finds from my Palm or GPS? I'm nearly there but would appreciate some guidance. Thanks in advance!
  13. I want to upgrade and sell my Garmin Etrex Legend CX. I have City Navigator 2008 and called Garmin and asked how I do this legally. They told me I should sell my City Navigator 2008 software with the unit. They said there is no problem to transfer the info ( registration for the unit and map) to them after the transaction. Is this right? I will have to purchase City Navigator 2008 for my new unit. I'm kind of confused. Note, I have Topo 2008 and they said I can load that on all units I own. Any info will be appreciated. I'm new to Geocaching and am getting ready for this spring. Clubmud
