  10. I would like to see if there would be any interest out there for senior cachers to participate in a timed-caching event as part of our Northland Senior Games - Minnesotas Senior Olympics in Duluth, Minnesota next June. Since geo-caching is not a sport at the National Senior Games, this would just be a demonstration event (cannot qualify for Nationals in it). We do have 15 events that you can qualify for Nationals in (for example, bowling, swimming, track and field, etc.). The cost would be the same as for all of our events, about $30, and includes a Senior Games t-shirt and food at the opening ceremonies. I would not divide it into age groups or by sex, but just do a gold, silver and bronze medal for the first 3 places..unless the numbers were high. Only those who are 50 years old and older by December 31, 2006 could participate. Link to old information: http://www.ci.duluth.mn.us/city/parksandre...games/index.htm

  12. Didn't know that was there..one of my rec centers that I run is a Quonset Hut..of course, the youth that go there have gone geocaching with me, so I'll have to get a pic and add it to the site..Thanks
  13. I thought maybe you had probably reversed a couple of numbers..good thing you told me..we might have hiked to the next state! The kids had a great time figuring the puzzles out, now the real fun begins!!
  14. Thank you, I did find a link to a university website and plugged in the numbers, but I came up with something a little different from yours..the numbers I got from that website are very close to his other puzzle caches, so I'm going to try them..but I'll bring yours along also, in case my results were wrong. Here is the website: http://www.geology.enr.state.nc.us/gis/latlon.html
  15. There was quite a bit more to it that just getting the numbers for figuring it out..we had the whole puzzle figured out, but needed to find out how to do such a conversion...sorry
