  5. Well with the help of ovcacher i managed to purchase my gps today. And found my first caches. Oh and we found 12 today total and picked up a tb, which i am going to place hopefully again here is a few minutes... Thanks Everybody,

  8. Thanks again everyone. But I have decided, well almost. Between the Garmin Legend HCX or the Vista HCX. What would be the pros and cons of each? They almost look identical to me but you all are more experienced. Thanks
  9. Thanks. That automatic routing feature sounds like a good idea. But let me guess I have to purchase this software on top of the gps? And, would updates be available, or would I have to rebuy the software ever year or so? Thanks
  10. Ok thanks. But I have done some more searching, but the more I search the more i get confuzzeled...But I have changed some things, I would like a gps that I can get street maps, and what should I look for? Technology is something I have no clue about. Thanks,
  11. THanks guys for the input. Ok this just goes to so you how little i know..,lol.. Anyway, I have looked at the Colorado, but thats exspensive. Probably out of my range right now, but then again tax time is coming up. With the street maps, do they have those for the whole country? And does it come with the gps? Also Papa I have never heard of DeLorme before, do they have a website that I could check out? Thanks

  13. Hello all, I am just getting started in geocaching and I was just wondering if anyone is around me? I am located in Clarington Ohio, Monroe County. Im about an hour or so from Pittsburgh and probably about a halve an hour from Marrieta Ohio. So is there anyone around or club to be able to help out a newbie? Thanks
  14. Hello All, Well im new here so Hi. lol Anyway, I am looking to get started in Geocaching but I have read reviews and the faqs but I still cant figure out which one I should purchase. But I do know what I would to have in one. I would it to have topo maps a good battery life and I am partial to garmins, dont know y but I like them. Now which ones would you all suggest for a newbie? Thanks for dealing with this question for probably the billonith time. Thanks
