  1. I know that radioshck has on sale a Garmin Streetpilot C330 for 120.00 with a 20.00 mail in rebate. I bought one for myself, and one for my aunt, it is a great unit, simple menus, and just an all around great unit.
  2. I have 2 Garmin Ique's for sale. I purchased them a little while ago to help with auto navigation, but then found a Garmin on sale at one of my local retailers, and bought it. I am selling these units only because I don't need them anymore. There is no cosmetic damage to either units. I have not used the city select CD's or unlock code. One of the units needs a new battery, the other battery has just been replaces, also, the unit that is missing the battery is missing the flip cover, and stylus. Both units work perfectly to the best of my knowledge, except for the fact that one needs the battery, flip cover, and stylus. Price is $100.00 OBO, and pictures are availible upon request. Please PM me if you are interested.
  3. I know, my mom can only go when it's convienient for her, while I like to go every chance I get.
  4. Is anyone selling a handlebar mount for a Garmin GPSMAP 60 Series? I have a GPSMAP 60CS. Please let me know by e-mail at bobcatboy56@AOL.com if you do.
  5. I am looking to buy a Garmin etrex or legend GPSr. I am very interested in buying the blue models, and the C/Cx/Hcx models. If you have a unit for sale please e-mail me at bobcatboy56@AOl.com.
  6. I am looking into buying a new unit. I have a Garmin GPSMAP 60CS, but I really wanted to get something with a high sensitivety reciever (Legend Hcx Vista Hcx). I was wondering if making the switch to a Legend/Vista Hcx would improve accuracy at all? My 60CS gives me about 20-30ft of accuracy. Are the Hcx models any better?
  7. I am able to transfer the waypoints through GSAK, but I can't get the hints. They also come up as waypoints, not Caches. Please let me know if I can change that at all, and how to upload the hints with it. (I am a premium member)
  8. I have a GPSMAP 60CS, and I want to upgrade to a Csx, or CX, or a Something in the 70 family with a color screen. If there is anyone that wants to trade units, or buy my CS (Works Fine, No Cosmetic Defects) please e-mail me at bobcatboy56@AOL.com. If you have Csx, CX or a color 70 for sale, please e-mail as well.
  9. If you use GSAK it will, however, I have yet to master the GSAK program.
  10. Well, the unit arrived today, and I'm already having trouble with the 56k memory limitations. I am only having this problem because I want to load two different areas (My hometown, and Baltimore) because I am going caching in Baltimore soon. I decided to just load the two areas seperatley.
  11. If you could do a New Jersey Map, That Would Be Great. Please PM me if you are going to do them!
  12. I had the unit for four months. It wasn't really accurate. When I would go caching with friends who had Garmins, my eXplorist would say about another 40-50ft, and their Garmins said right in front of us, and the cache was indeed, right in front of us. This has happened many times when I have gone caching. Otherwise it's a great unit. I was able to find it for US-119.99 on tigerdirect.com, but I don't know if they ship outside the U.S. I would go check their website first if you are in to buying an eXplorist. I just recently traded it in for a Garmin GPSMAP 60CS with a Glisson Antenna. If you are new to caching, I would say buy it, but otherwise, I would reccomend going Garmin.
  13. Adios Senior eXplorist! After only a few months of faithful service, I am trading in mky eXplorist 500le for a more accurate Garmin GPSMAP 60CS (yes I know it's discontinued) however, after hours spent on the phone with Magellan trying to get their software to work, I think I'll give Garmin a shot. I'll miss the little guy.
  14. Does The 60CS Support the "Send To Garmin" feature On The Geocaching Website? Also, how many characters does the description/hints hold at maximum?
  15. Does The 60CS Support the "Send To Garmin" feature On The Geocaching Website?
  16. Is there anyone that has cheap maps for a garmin GPSMAP 60Cs? PM me with a price if you do.
  17. SOLD! Pending Payment. If it becomes availible again, I will post.
  18. The Cache Is Straight . . .THAT WAY! (Points In Random Direction)
  19. Whoops, thought I posted the price. My fault. The Price for the unit (including Neck Strap, 2 Gig SD Card, Warranty, Cables, and Manuals) Is $150.00. Once again, I am sorry for not posting the price.
  20. Yes, this is the same unit. The reason why I am selling is that I got extra money for my birthday, and was able to afford a new unit. As for the age of this unit, it is 4 months old. I checked the bill of sale, and it says February 2nd 2008. I am sorry for the mix up, and have contacted a moderastor about merging the posts.
  21. I am paying 175.00, is that a good buy or should I try to go lower? Also, Is this unit better than a Magellan eXplorist 500le? My friend has one he lets me use from time to time, and I was wondering if A Garmin GPSMAP 60Cs is better. I am also buying the afformentioned "Glisson Antenna" to boost the signal reception of the unit, please take this into consideration when evaluating the signal quality.
  22. I am buying a Garmin GPSMAP 60Cs. Is this a good unit to buy? I have heard many good things about it. I have also heard it is a great unit for caching. Please post your opinions, and experiences with this unit!
