Thank you for the helpful insight. Shouldn't I be able to zoom in on Atlanta, for example, in Mapsource and see detailed streets using City Nav? I don't. Thank you

I loaded the City Map 1st then the Topo 2nd. I've looked more on the Garmin support site and they say the base map cannot be upgrade to more detailed maps. I assume that means I cannot load the City Nav maps. Very odd.

I have searched this forum and the Garmin site for hours but cannot find the answer. I loaded City Navigator North America v8 into MApsource. I have the City Nav mapset selected at the top of Mapsource but I don't have any detailed maps of any citys. There is no difference in the preloaded base map and the City Map I installed. I loaded the N.A Topo 24k without a hitch. a.) Can the Venture not utilize the City Nav N. America v8? Thank you in advance.
