You have to go under Setup then Routing and its the Guidance method, change to Prompted you will get asked each time

I bought the Legend 1st and when I cached with it that unit switched when you got close, I returned that unit to get the Vista HCX and can not get this one to do it. So please if it does Auto switch let us know how its done...

When you do the Reply or Edit do you see the Earth and Paper clip icon above Click on it and it will prompt you for the long URL then a title like Click it

Yes I guess I was just confused because I had the Legend for 2 days and when I used it it would flip to the compass when I got so close to the cache. Thought that since it was almost the same model It would work the same.. Thanks for the feedback...

So it will not change to the compass by it self? I had been just flipping to it top button...

When I'm going to a Cache it says arriving and it will not switch to the compass, So that I can see what Direction and how far to go. Is there anyway with this unit once you get so close that it will flip from the map to the compass?? I had the Venture for 2 days and it did this.. Thanks for the help...

I got the bundle at Dicks Sporting goods for $290. Figured since it was bundled I was getting alittle more for the extra..

Thanks for all the replies, I really like this unit also. But was looking for the Maps and Turn by Turn.. So I guess it would be get the LegendHCx or VistaHCx to have that feature.. Thanks again..

Thanks for the Welcome.. I don't have a problem taking this back, Can anyone really tell me if I will be able to add maps to it? I can not tell by looking around, it looks like it. I saw the same unit sold online with maps.. Just confused.. Sorry...

Ok I bought this unit pretty fast and in playing with it and reading about other units online. I think there might be a better one out there.. I don't think I can put maps on this one.. Should I return it and get a different model?? Any Hints from you Pros out there??? Thanks...
