  1. If you have geocaches on your oregon connect your gps to your comp hit start select your gps click gpx files and delete your gpx files. diconect the gps and turn your gps back on all geocaches should be deleted.

all geocaches are saved to gpx files delete the files and your unit is cleared out then add a new pocket querry to your gpx to reload.

  2. I made a puzzle cache where you had to solve by finding the Ether cache app and it told you where to find the cache Groundspeak just sent me a email and said no more ether caches will be published but mine will be grandfathered in GC2M1R7

    Greetings joesdolphins,

After further evaluation, Groundspeak has opted to not publish any more ethercaches. This cache will remain active and grandfathered in. There is no need to archive it unless it goes missing or has other issues that usually result in archival. Stay tuned to the forums as to further developments around ethercaches.

    Thanks,

    CTReviewer

  3. How are you putting the caches on the GPSs? Have you changed how you do it?

Can you copy and paste a sample of the field note text file here, please?

    Working fine for me.

I am loading by a pocket querry loading the gpx file in the garmin gpx file. The gps are holding the field notes but when we go to field notes on Geocaching.com upload field notes for our units we sellect browse find the garmin file select field notes then upload and the screen blinks and record of our notes are found. Found everything the same as we did before.

  7. i have been using field note option on my Colorado 400t for 2 years now with no problems, on july 2 and today july 3 when i submit field notes on geocaching.com no records of my field notes appear? Same thing happens on my GF Dakota 20 everything worked fine before july 2. Any one else having this problem? we even tryed both gps on different computers. Help Please.. joe.krukowski@yahoo.com

  8. I own the colorado 400t its the best gps out there to me if u geo cache, its just as accurate as the 60 csx i cache with people who own the 60 csx. The paperless caching rules. the only thing i dont like about the colorado for multi caches when u find the first stage and have to put in new coords u cant change the coords for the gpx file for the cache. u have to make a way point and edit it with the new coords for the second stage. So if your searching for the second stage and need the int you have to back out of screen your on and go back to the first stage geocache page for the hint again then back to the waypoint you made. That is the only thing wrong with it its awsome. The colorado is signal is great in the woods but the 60 csx can hold a sig insde any house my colorado somtimes looses signal in some houses.

  9. I own a garmin Colorado and its the best gps out there next to the 60csx. I was able to do some caching with delorme pn-40 owner. My Colorado was more accurate when next to the caches. And the paperless caching is way better than the pn-40 the pn-40 didnt have all the cache discriptions and is not totally compadible with geocaching.com yet not until another firm ware update thats not out yet.Face garmin rules!!

One other thing alot of people think the colorado still has problems. The unit is awsome garmin fixed all its problems with firm ware updates. Every revue i read on the colorado is old before all the updates.
