I use my Palm m515 with Windows Vista, and it works just fine....after I downloaded and installed PalmDesktopWin62Beta And yes, Palm with Cachemate is definitely the way to go!

I found out about geocaching after reading an article about it last month in the waiting room of my son's dentist office. It was in Southern Living magazine (Nov/2007 issue, I think)....almost stole that magazine so I wouldn't forget about it! Ended up just writing down the geocaching.com link instead though. I got a Garmin etrex Legend (the blue one) for Christmas, and have found 17 so far this past week. I'm hooked!!

Hi everyone! I have been lurking for about a week now. I got a Garmin etrex Legend (the blue one) for Christmas and found my first cache the same day. I've found 17 so far this past week and went to one event already....I love geocaching!! I'm hooked! As far of the forum here, I read as much as I could this past week...the advice is terrific. I decided to go with GSAK to download waypoints to my gps. Then, followed the advice for paperless geocaching, bought a used Palm m515 off ebay over the weekend, downloaded Cachemate, got the Palm in the mail today and already have it set up! Like I said, the advice here is TERRIFIC. I couldn't have done it so quickly without you guys. It is going to be great not carrying all those papers around. Anyway...I'm a lurker...a registered lurker, but a lurker nonetheless! LOL
