    Restricted Tb Page

The Mission/Current GOAL of a TB is restricted to 1000 characters. The Description/About this item is restriced to 5000 characters. What is the reason for this restriction? I'm asking because due to this limitation I can't add an english description to this Travelbug
  3. Hmmm ... I just see that this answers the original question as well
  4. It also assures that you're not cheating with a multi which e.g. directs the cacher into a forbidden area.
  5. You name it You might have a problem with getting the home-cache approved due to it's availability but that's it ...
  6. You're pretty right about that one Anyway - more suggestions: Special Equipment compass: binocular: ??? (this one might make some troubles with scenic view) Conditions cave: Facilities historic place: bring your own pen:
  7. actually it is a mystery-cache: Some multis get approved as puzzle-caches since you have to solve riddles on the trail however there is no worldwide standardised approving policy about mystery-caches: Some say that it's a mystery-cache if you have to do some calculations on the trail and others say it's only multi-cache
  8. The reason why there are so many couch potatoes on the continent, is that the people have a general problem to read English texts - like the mentioned part of the guidelines. And the appover(s) didn't care very much either. However right now it is impossible to get such a cache approved.

  11. As I said: This is too political to be discussed in this forum. If you want to discuss what's a rebel or a terrorist feel free to send me an email.
  12. There're several caches where blinking LEDs are used e.g. Training Unit Six Some of these caches have a IR-LED so you need to have a night vision device. Other nightcaches use reactive lights: You need to hit them with a strong flashlight before they start to blink for a short while. ... did I mention they are all in Germeany?

  19. --schnischnaschnappi-- If I lived in Germany, I'd log your cache anyway...and I'd hope that lots of other Premium members did the same thing, to keep you very busy. Well - maybe you realise that you mixed up something No Members Please by Gernot90 (GCMFQD)
  20. Natur und Technik >> you have to watch a video about geocaching which is on a CD at the start and then together with some question in a txt file you'll find the cache
  21. Like sTeamTraen, I just want to show that some subpages of a MOC can be accessed easily without being a PM. If you create a MOC you might want to know that. Actually I don't care about a MOC, a Non-MOC or whatever ...
