    IPAD

Ok, For all of us who have been waiting, and Groudspeak even suggested in a post that another vendor may create an app...IGEOPAD, has been released for the IPad . I downloaded it Thursday and it is great! Well worth it.
  2. I have had a starnge problem crop up over the last few weeks. When I d/l a pocket query it installs in my Oregon 550t with all the descriptions, logs etc all available under Geocaching. But when I load the same file into Bascamp I end up with two different kinds of cache icons and listings on the left rail.. 99% are the GC # and there are a few that are the cache name. Only the listings with the cache name display all the decription etc info in the middle lower box..after selecting a cache. I have changed back and forth between gpx 1.0 and 1.01 in my settings on Geocaching.com I can't figure out was has happend... Help. this was a great way to find and display caches in the field and plan a route...and do paperless caching..
  3. I just had to reinstall everything after a nasty virus..and have just about got myself back to "go". I'm having an issue with Basecamop thoough. When I import a gpx file I no longer get the description, logs and hint and when I select a geocache. Just the view that gives basic info and add file link, add file link... How do I get the detailed view back?
  4. I'll echo this. I d/l'd the macro et al over the weekend, followed the tutorial and viola..was off to the races. I have a Nuvi 760 so will be anxious to hear if a fix becomes available for the proximity alarm. Thanks to Piolotsnipes! True, real, not hafway there, paperless caching..and I had everything I needed all along. I also have a 760 and am frustrated by the crashes when POIs are in range. I have written and also spoken to Garmin tech support so I know that they are aware of the problem. I just don't know if they have a solution or if they do, what the priority is in their firmware release cycle. Maybe if we all start reminding them again it will light a fire and expedite the fix. I'll drop an email to Garmin. Did you refer to this as the macro that Pioltsnipes wrote...or just that Proximity alarms crash the 760?
