  1. Here is one website I found in a quick search http://www.njorvp.org/ for the NJ ORV Park. Here are some more on a different site. Off-Highway Vehicle Trails The Boondock Blazers is a 4WD club based in New Jersey with events, photos, and contacts: http://www.orbitdevelopment.com/boondock/ Off-Road.com has motorized route descriptions and photos in the Pine Barrens- Wharton State Forest: http://www.off-road.com/4x4web/travels/pine-barrens.html For more 4X4 Trails in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey: http://www.4X4NOW.com/trnjpb.htm The ATV Connection describes several places to ride ATVs: http://www.atving.com/tmpl/ridearea/maride.cfm I live in eastern NC where it is challenging to find places to drive my jeep off road too, but This is off topic, so back to cemetery caches ...
  2. So you will continue to intrude on private property at all hours and trample graves to satisfy your prurient curiousity? Amazing.
  3. I'm looking for someone who knows the geocacher (former maybe) "pat2run". He had my tb Annie Kicks and has since disappeared. I saw he used to visit the forums so I figured I'd try. Please help Annie come home or continue traveling!
  4. I knew I'd get this kind of response from such a great group of geocachers. I may be able to find the time to meet with the parks in the next month or so. I would love whatever help I could get. It's hard to know where the line between peaceful coexistence and full disclosure lies.
  5. OK, the title is a little over the top, but from what I have seen, not far off base. SmithMountainExplorers apparently have been contacted by TPTB in Lake Rim Park that they must remove their cache or have it removed because fireworks, an obviously banned item, were placed in a cache. We need to move now to reassure the local authority about geocaching or apparently lose some great places to cache. I am looking for help from local cachers.
  6. OnT - I log all my dnf's and appreciate when others log theirs also - OfT - hmmm.... why not DNF's - it is a contraction of finishes? (another word guy) OK, I'm a former English major. I checked my MLA. Apostrophes are used to form the plurals of a single letter (A's) not abbreviations (DNFs). For those of your with the sacred book, it used to be 2.2.2. I feel better.
  7. So, are we going to be able to edit existing caches? Did I miss a reply? Just wondering...
  8. Ok, not a movie, but the show "The Amazing Race" has incorporated a geocache in one of their "legs." Players had to use a pre-programmed GPS to find the pit stop. Kewl.
  9. Ok. My first cache. I put it in a bad place, knowingly, but with the hope that, well, there were two other caches there too. But I was not approved. Archived before my little first cache was ever released. So, I've found a new place, reentered the coordinates, changed the description. So, can I just adjust the info and reenter it, clicking the box, or do I need to fill out a new form? Markwell me if need be or cut and paste a gc guidline I've missed. Help?
  10. I have picked up a TB that is trying to get to Colorado. Is anyone from NC near Fayetteville going that direction?
