I don't really want to get involved in this but I think it needs to be said that the person who had the cache at the time it was disabled received no emails about what to do with it even though emails were sent to the CO asking for direction. The cacher was very concerned about doing the right thing, not least about what to do with all the TBs that were travelling with the cache. The CO can do what he likes with his cache but don't lie about it being the discourteous UK cachers making him do it. Lou

Thank you. It is a simple cartridge basically providing a sound track to a nightcache. You start it going then as you enter certain zones sound effects automatically go off. There is no interaction required from the player so I can't see where they can do anything wrong. Because they are following fire tacks, they can't really miss the zones and I have made the zones pretty big areas. One player got the cartridge started but only one zone went off then nothing, the second player didn't get it started so I think that was user error as he hadn't done a Wherigo before. It's no BIG deal if the Wherigo doesn't work as it is an optional extra to add atmosphere to the night cache, it doesn't stop them finding the cache if it doesn't work, but it would be so much better with it.

Hello, I have built a cartridge which works perfectly for me on my iphone but the two people who have tried it have not been able to get it to work. One was also using an iphone, i don't know yet what the other person was using. Is it common for whereigos to be so temperamental or is it likely to be user error? I suppose I need to get some people to try it with me there. Thanks for any thoughts Lou

Hello, I can't get a geocachng.com map for any cache or search. There is just a blank box. Is this just me or a site problem, have I clicked some button to cause this? It's been a couple of days and I can't find any mention of it elsewhere. Help? Thanks Lou

Thank you very much for your suggestions, I shall make a note. I am going with my OH and dog, I am the big geocacher and would spend all day, every day caching but he is not so keen so i try and locate caches that are in the vicinity of or on the way to other places of interest. I always find local cache setters are the ideal local guides, take you to some wonderful locations you would never otherwise find. Looking forward to our trip Lou
